Has the Glastonbury 2023 ticket prices changed your situation?

As discussed on other threads, prices are £335 + £5 booking fee, has this price increase made you change your mind

Reposting from the other thread, but it won't make a dent. Wasn't it something like 10% of people trying to get tickets got them this year?

All this will do, sadly, is price out a bracket of earners.

Enough to make me think about it. I'm still planning on attending but it really is a lot of money now.

As long as no change in job status etc I'll still be trying. Glastonbury is my number 1 thing for me so I would cut a lot of other things before Glastonbury. Some have been cut already or cut back drastically already.

Incorrect we don’t know the figures of people trying …. Only that some time ago we had Michael telling us the number registered .

Glasto is always my priority of the year and the rest of my group are fine to pay

Myself and my group are all still very keen to go despite the price jump, especially when other festival with a more half arsed line-up and production such as R+L are charging close to £300 anyways. Very much still our priority festival to get tickets for!

I am still planning on going should I get a ticket. I am fortunate enough to be able to afford it and I always make sure I have the money set aside. FWIW I still feel the price is great value for what you get in return, it's my main holiday for the year and I think the expense is worth it.

That said I think this increase will unfortunately reduce the accessibility of the festival to those on lower incomes.

That's where I'm at. I never thought it would be this way but for me it might just have to come down to the line-up. I have a wedding and associated costs coming up over the next year and a half, and I know I can't plan to attend Glasto every year for the next few, so the line-up is going to have final say for me.

Will pay the deposit (touch wood) but I’m seriously taking it as a sign that seeing macca and Bruce together on the pyramid stage means it might never get any better for me and I will more than likely end up watching at home with a flagon of cider.

Price is pretty much what I was expecting, couldn't see it being much less than £350 given inflation it's still a lot of money and a big part of our leisure budget but will be trying as usual.

As all the regulars already know I'm crew, so ticket prices don't affect me.

However, if I where a punter I wouldn't pay these prices.

Glastonbury is my yearly holiday, so tic plus camper and expenses will probably hit about £700 for me, but thats a weeks holiday, so I still think its 'reasonable' but I get that other people do actually go on holiday to beaches and stuff, so festivals are probably the first to be culled when it comes to costs.
