Boots dioralyte powder does the same thing. Hangovers are caused by dehydration which also means you're peeing out a load of sugar, salt and other electrolytes over the course of the night.

You need to replace the liquid but also the salt etc as well (which is why you crave fatty food). That's why dioralyte works so well, it's essentially the same treatment needed for diarrhoea.

Make up a batch and down it before bed. I swear by it.

Seconded, always took a batch of these sachets away on ‘lads trips’ back in the bad old days 🙂

Yeah, well that's OK for you to say 'Shitty Legs'!

@Leyrulion  (Bloody hell, I did it!)    Sorry about that. It's an affliction you know!? Anyway, hope you don't take the hump because you are meant to join in.*

* that's my caveat, that is.**

** the thing above, that is.

My caveat poem.

That just happens to be how Brummies announce the word 'laughing'.

The bit above is down to The Chaos Theory. That is all.

@Leyrulion - Fucking hell I'm sorry, but you'll never get that time back, you know!?

Rewired my hat lighting. It’s been 5 years since it made a Glastonbury appearance so it needed a bit of work.

Most places you'd think "surely nobody has mentioned that before?", but I suspect @crazyfool1 has said something very similar 🙂

Last fest (2019) I had a cup of Rehydration salts/water before going out/getting on it for the eve - it made soo much difference! You don't realise how tired you get being dehydrated and even though I was constantly drinking water, it obviously wasn't enough. They're essential now for me!

Today - I'll be helping a friend in the coach resale! Already secured my attendance stewarding with Oxfam (first time!!) 😀

Same. Having the foresight to do so when you're three sheets to the wind is a different struggle mind.

f5 finger exercises for the coach resale crew

I'm spending most of the day at work copying and pasting from spreadsheets, so I'll be well warmed up for this evening.

I bought a new pair of wellies last week  spent a few hours wearing them around the house to test out walkability. I think im gunna take em back and risk it with my leather waterproof walking boots and my waterproof sneakers.

I went into hibernation with the disappointment of October 2019, stayed there during pandemic (and other boring work nonsense), but was lured out of my burrow at the mention of resales 🙂

    • I'm bemused why Jaissle hasn't been confirmed yet. If he and his coaches are already there, surely the paperwork to send this through must be somewhat sorted and confirmation imminent, no?   Feel like clubs are soft on tapping up now as an industry, right? I swear most deals seem to be a case that personal terms are agreed beforehand. In an older life, this Bruno deal has a potential case imo given the use of intermediaries to plant a seed in Bruno's mind this was a good idea (much I'm prepared to accept last season's mess would likely have had Bruno doubting if he wanted to stay regardless) but the industry seems more forgiving of this stuff at present. Wind seems to be picking up that a deal is about to happen regardless. Shame as I'd have been more willing to accept a move to Real Madrid but it is what it is.   Would be nice if we could show some more balls with this stuff tbf. Feel like the owners are taking a strange lesson from Isak last year in that now, we just have to let everyone go at the first sign of trouble, even though other clubs in a similar boat to us are seemingly more willing to turn back and tell pursuers to f**k off.
    • I wouldn't. U2 would almost certainly be doing stadiums and Muse have been saying they have stadium shows booked. They're the likelier of the two to be doing BST Hyde Park, but my expectations would be to expect them turning up at a stadium.
    • Exactly. One rumour doing the rounds was that they were playing 2 stadium shows in Greece next summer and that I would assume it'll be part of the same tour to do a London stadium gig.
    • Fontaines would be excellent, if not for the fact R+L have them this year. Spurs feels bold - though achievable, of course.
    • Start your engines.    Going to hazard a guess at St. Vincent, Faith No More and LCD Soundsystem as the more boutique "coup" options.    Expect Rick Astley one among the Radio 2-friendly bankers.    Let the guesswork commence!
