they just replied to me on instagram... even more confused now given 2021 had no lineup released!

For some reason that really made me laugh. Their first post was frustratingly ambiguous (“main stage”?) then to follow it up with getting mixed up with what year they’re confused about and the equivalent of ‘pffft’ and a shrug. Top trolling.

wolf alice are the best band in the world so it’s deserved

My delight for them would probably eclipse any disappointment I’d feel. They’d have the absolute time of their lives and we’d love to see it. Shame it won’t happen, in a way.

I think it's much more likely that they've let the cat out of the bag on something* and now covering their tracks.

We got confused with 2021 is the weakest excuse possible 😂

By this I actually think they've just dropped a bollock and Wolf Alice are headlining but the Other Stage not the Pyramid.

So... removing Wolf Alice from the headliner equation (for now...), why do we think that Macca and/or Kendrick are goners?

Last I'd seen from Neil, Kendrick was essentially nailed on, and general vibe is that Macca is a lock. I appreciate there are always caveats to these things but why do we suddenly think one or both of them aren't making it?

Wolf Alice headlining Other on Saturday would make much more sense, specially if it's against an act like Harry Styles/Dua Lipa. Considering the other two are PSB and Foals they would be the "female" band (if I am not wrong in 2020 we had at least one female headlining each stage.

Neither of them actually have any dates announced, and Kendrick especially appears to be being replaced at most of the festivals he was supposed to be at last year.

I certainly wouldn’t dismiss the idea that Wolf Alice are one of our headliners. US acts are not committing to travel restricting the choice of headline acts - and WA are without doubt a Glastonbury act. Coldplay headlined on album number 2 and even they had doubts whether they were ready…the rest is history. Personally I can see this happening

Wolf Alice haven’t exactly released Yellow.

The more I think about it the more I think it could happen... and be amazing!  Glastonbury give WA a little footie up and they smash it.  For me, I'd prefer them over Kenrick, Billie or Macca.

    • Do people want an arena experience though? Especially for sub par bands. Rather a band do more nights at an independent venue for more money than 1 big one.

    • Hey everyone! My friend and I are heading over from Sweden to Tramlines this summer. We had our eyes on a bunch of different festivals in the UK, but since most of them sold out before we even knew if we’d be able to make the trip, we finally settled on Tramlines. Why Tramlines, you might ask? Well, because we’re absolutely crazy about British music, and finding a festival like this (where you also don’t have to camp, a huge plus) made it impossible not to buy a ticket. The fact that I’ll also get to see The Enemy after beeing a fan for 19 years didn’t hurt either.   Since the app doesn’t work over here… is the Clashfinder schedule 100% accurate? What’s the venue like, and what does the map look like? Which sides of the stages are best to stand on? How long does it take to walk between stages? What are the prices usually for food and drinks? Is it easy to get to the festival from town? And is it easy to get back into town? Is it allowed to walk around with a beer anywhere in the venue, or are there those stupid fenced-off bar areas? As you can tell, I need all kinds of info, so please share your best tips and tricks to make this the best festival experience possible.  I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! 😃
