I noticed the official statement on RW website does not offer ticket holders a refund, only to postpone to 2022 or to get Ticketmaster credit. How come? There was a refund option for the 2021 edition

Maybe, thats a heads up on the way things are going to be in the future with ticket agencies wanting to give credits as opposed to refunds. I rolled my Madcool tickets over from 2020 to 2021 and they were offering refunds on 2020 tickets. I doubt that festival will take place this year and not sure how keen I will  be to roll over  again in to 2022. I bought my tickets at ticketmaster.es, as UK based a spanish ticketmaster credit would not be very useful so may well end up rolling again if that is all that is on offer.

Wouldn't it be more advantageous for ticket agencies to give refunds rather than credits? You don't get your service charge back on refunds.

True. However if you get a refund you can take what they refund someplace else and spend it there. With a credit you have to use it  back with ticketmaster. Also the website suggests that you may have to use it for festivals/gigs at the same venue. It will be interesting to see how it plays out as they may be pusing people along a credit route when other options are available.

Good point.

Can this pharmacy sell you intelligence?

They are more intelligent in cases how the situation will go than the most of the people here who are just refusing to face the reality of the situation. They know how the procedure with vaccine will go on for sure.

And this info this person got from Uni teacher, surely they are all idiots.

I like how your posts are being constantly downvoted just because they differ from general opinion.

Have a very likely info that mass events wouldn't take part until the end of 2022. Comes from a person who works in pharmacy.

Won't buy any ticket until  is 90% sure that festivals will go on.

Is that in the UK or specifically related to the Belgian side of things?

Those downvotes aren't a result of sharing 'a different opinion', they're there because these comments are complete bollocks.

And even if this turns out to be the case (which I'm 99% sure of it won't), you're not doing anyone (anyone!) a favour in dropping stuff like that in here.

I just hope they'll announce other bands ASAP so we won't have to wait until march/april 2022. I'm in anyway but I really need the announcement excitement. And other customers might buy tickets earlier - that might help with the cash flow.

Normally by the end of april they'll announce the dates and names for september/late august. But the statistics in Belgium have to be okay by then. The announcements for 2022 are depending on the bands and other festivals.

Are they willing to bring back the same headliners? Heard RHCP are willing to play some of their other festival shows but dates are not confirmed yet. Are they an option for 2022?

Where did you heard Rhcp are ready to announce new show?

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
