  1. Wow, she really lost her headlining status in BE....
  2. So, Leuven it is again, not gonna try anything new 🙂 Thanks a lot for the answer !!
  3. Wow, a lot of new informations from RW team, including night trains 😮 I see there's a second town added as a bus departure base - AARSCHOT - and it's recomended for people with regular camping tickets (which is for me and my friends). Therefore I have a question for the locals: - which city - AARSCHOT or LEUVEN has more train connections with Zaventem Airport? I'm on a pretty tight schedule arriving June 30th 9:30 am and leaving Bru July 4th 10:30 am so I'm not gonna take any chances and if this AARSCHOT has less train connections with the airport than Leuven.
  4. True. I still remember the taste of "free" oysters from 2017 🙂
  5. Physical chips, actually it's a piece of paper 🙂 That's recycle coupons from 2012
  6. Luckily I've found an alternative route directly to my hometown so I'll have to be at the airport around 9 am. That's easy 🙂 But thanks for the answer !!
  7. Anyone remembers when shuttle buses start driving to Leuven on Monday morning? I'm thinking about 7:40 am plane home from Zaventem so I'd have to be on the bus at 6 am...
  8. Not Werchter 2022 related but I have to write it here... Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters drummer) is dead 😞
  9. Since 4 weeks ago line-up is complete and the festival is SOLD OUT
  10. TWOD were brilliant in 2015 so I expect them to do the same tis time. For me it's Greta - haven't seen them and I fell asleep on ALt-J in 2017 (to be fair, I was at the barriers waiting to enter GC to see Foo Fighters) Haven't seen anyone of these guys but Fender seems more rockier so it's an easy choice for me
  11. I used to risk everything and board a plane in Poland at 7 am the day festival started. Collect a luggage, get to Leuven, bus to Werchter, pitch a tent, get in line and enter the festival grounds. Did that couple of times and usually managed too see 1st band on main stage. 2016 was an exception but it was an exceptional year (due to the fucked up weather conditions) Think I was full of luck so not gonna risk this time. Flying to Brussels the day before 🙂
  12. Saw Beck only once in 2008 (Werchter had TWO stages back then) and I have NEVER seen Pixies. It's manageable, but since I NEED to hear "Where is my mind?" I'll travel to The Barn after Pixies end their set
  13. @Ken19will this idea od "1 drink coupon for 20 empty cups" be continued? Can't seem to find any info about this in FAQ for this year.
  14. Yeah, forgot about this one. But I'll stick with Pixies to the end and then I'll go to see Beck
  15. My dilemmas Thursday: Gang of Youths/The Dead South Fontaines D.C/Airbourne Friday: Miles Kane/Sons Turnstile/Idles Saturday: no clashing problems 😛 Sunday: Jimmy Eat World/Royal Blood
  16. We're getting close to a SOLD OUT sign so wouldn't count on it. And @Ken19 said "Negotiations with a bigger barn name thursday and klub c Friday are still going on. The other days nothing big to fill the last gaps." Three days are still good/splendid. Saturday is a tragedy and we have NO chance to save this day. It died with Mike Patton's mental health issues
  17. So... actually QOTSA GAVE RW the time since they didn't cancel themselves. If RW didn't tell they ain't playing we wouldn't be having this conversation. Hell, other festivalgoers wouldn't have 2nd doubts (since Pinkpop, Mad Cool still didn't cancel them) Then again - since RW HAD the time to work behind the scenes (they knew QOTSA won't play and QOTSA went silent) and managed to do shit (AKA upgrading Greta)
  18. If they do we have another year off. Let's hope not 🙂
  19. Aerosmith are indeed cancelling EU 2022 tour, I-days Milan posted this on FB. Rival Sons weren't announced for Graspop so I wonder - were they one of those 9 bands yet to be added later or can we have a shot with them now they're available ? 🙂
  20. Done that in 2016, only because mud and rain made me REALLY SICK. I escaped camping grounds adter 2 days and stayed in Brussels. Haven't seen Sat & Su headliners as I had to travel to Leuven to catch last train to the capital. So unless you have a car it's pointless.
  21. Once an artist ends Main Stage, another one starts on The Slope. Same goes with Klub C - The Barn.
  22. Actually this proves my point even further. If a festival has TWO options on the table at the very last minute I'd expect more options and tryouts to deliver a stellar line-up when one has 6 months to go. Friday is still good for me, not perfect since QOTSA are out (hoping they're out of entire EU June-July circuit, that will ease the pain a bit). Saturday is abysmal and - as @Ken19stated - beyond saving. That's the worst part. Especially when there will be clashes on other days and Saturday is a no-clash day. Still - they'd headline Thu or Fri. They'd be PERFECT alternative for Imagine Dragons.
  23. So Saturday remains shit as hell 😞
  24. True but then again let's get back to 2015 when Dave broke his leg/ankle (can't remember) and Thursday was sold out months in advance. They've managed to get a proper replacement at the very last minute (FnM). None other festival who had Foo Fighters on the bill couldn't deliver such a quality band back then. Therefore I'm obliged to expect more from RW management. Especially when there's shitload of time.
  25. They could always give us Florence or The Strokes. Those second ones especially would be fitting. Friday is sold out so we wouldn't have the problem they don't sell tickets. And the contract would be a done deal. Florence on the other hand played 2nd last time as well so it could be doable. Hell, Franz Ferdinand came back on stage, they have enough hits to give us 1 hour of fun. And they didn't even try to calm us with Editors ;/
