Have chef whites improved any over the years. Last time I wore then they weighed the same as and had the breathability of one of those lead smocks that xray technicians wear

Not too bad to be honest, cotton poly blend so lightweight (& I've been doing this too many years to remember so fully used to being boiling hot 😅) - black skull cap & black cotton face mask = full ninja mode 😁😁

 

Pretty quite tonight tbh due to footy, hence my posting here😜

 

edit; I'm a relief chef so don't always flip burgers😜

Same, I only ever see her in here so not sure how much people like my parents and most of my friends, who don't spend much time reading covid stuff online, would even be aware of her. Likely not at all.

      Ah, that is interesting and ruins my theory a bit!!   I think my point just about holds though, and coming full circle on this discussion, being a sizable band such as Muse and not being able to sell out two O2 dates very quickly or at all doesn’t fill me with confidence that they be able to do a decent job selling a stadium tour…although maybe if Muse do something about their pricing, maybe they can!

      I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift

      It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
