The rich irony is that Peston loves Tories, he can talk about inequalities but he’s part of why there’s a problem.

An acquaintance of mine has been a bit of a bad lad and recently spent some time at her majesty’s pleasure. He’s been out and being the scrote that he is he has broken his release conditions. He was about to go back inside today but he has managed to get himself another 14 days of freedom as he is “self isolating” from covid. Smart lad 😂

Must save Christmas though!

Travelling out of major cities across country should just been banned for Chrsitmas bottom line. The first 2 weeks of Jan will be fucking carnage.

Just catching up with the news about the Russian millionaire Tory donor whose dad was in the KGB who got sworn into the Lords yesterday (and is also mates with Johnson).

I've always thought the name Boris Johnson sounds like an amateurish attempt at a Russian spy trying to integrate over here.

That would probably explain quite a few things.

Lebedev also owns the palazzo in Perugia where some great bunga bunga parties are held.....allegedly.

That's where Johnson disappeared off to without any CP when he was foreign secretary.

Going to be some decent kompromat floating around somewhere.

The morning after the night before.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present our Prime Minister

Fellow passengers at San Francesco d’Assisi airport described the then foreign secretary as looking ‘like he slept in his clothes’.

When he was walking out to the plane, he did this curved walk,’ said one witness. ‘I really thought he was going to be sick on the tarmac.’

    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
    • Dug into Milkweed some more and this was a brilliant suggestion. Thank you 🙂   This will come as no surprise, but I have been told that there are some band substitutions to come.
    • Yeah, I think it's important to differentiate between a stage that's just a platform for the artist to walk on (which can be assembled fairly quickly and without too much difficulty), and the custom staging that you get in big productions where there's a whole world underneath.   Using the Eras tour as an example the stage extending out into the stadium field has all sorts - lifts that go up or down - down most importantly as this allows performers to enter or to leave the stage as needed. There's passageways to get from one part of the stage to another. There's what are effectively dressing rooms set aside for costume changes. There's spare instruments (and techs to look after them) so if something goes wrong above they can be swapped out in the space of seconds. There's even a track and dolly system running the full length of the stage so that Taylor can be moved from one end to the other faster than she'd be able to walk.   I don't know the specifics of the Madonna tour to the same degree but my understanding is that a lot of the same techniques are used.
