If there's no new music within the next few days, I think it's game over for Kendrick this year. A platform as huge as the Superbowl would be a no-brainer for any comeback strategy. It's going to be a critical weekend.

Kendrick no-showed at the press conference too. Doesn’t feel like he’s using it as a big promotional opportunity.

Hopefully he'll announce that he can't put out his new album until Ye retracts his demand for Billie to apologise for what she said referencing the tragedy at Astroworld.

Yeah agreed. Tho I'd maybe extend that to a week after the Superbowl? If he doesn't do something then it feels like it's over.

Him not doing the press conference definitely doesn't bode well.

BBC News at 10 just ran a feature on the Super Bowl and the half time show and said Snoop, Dre, Eminem and Mary J Blige would be performing.  No mention of Kendrick at all.

Most likely because he wasn’t at the press conference and they’re just listing who was there. Doubt it means anything in relation to him pulling out or anything like that.

Dre did mention performing alongside Kendrick at the performance so fear not.

He also said "I had to talk Snoop and Eminem out of pulling their penises out”, with no mention of stopping Kendrick.

Looking forward to this on Wednesday. Hoping this increase in activity is heading towards an album rollout (the Milan festival are claiming he'll be playing new music), but after hearing nothing from him for months and getting last night's performance, a show announcement today and this - it's good to see him come out of hiding regardless.

Kendrick has pied of Rosklide, Rock Werchter, Opener, and all of the mainland festivals who would pay him a shed load to play GLASTONBURY.
