Bearded Theory next week. I go every year and it’s a great lil build up festival!

29th May I’ve got the first rehearsal with the band.

22nd June I’m putting a nite on in London with some crazy good bands and it’s my first full band performance.

Last night I played an open mic which was great fun but really messy - members of FWF frequently play intimate acoustic shows there so that should give u lot a picture of what it’s like.

crazy times ahead.

Mine is a bit hectic:

16-30th May: Desperately try and finish as much of my PhD thesis as possible (which sadly includes not going on the Ibiza holiday I have booked)

31st May: My birthday and Sheffield leaving party

1-2nd June: Be hungover and pack all my shit - including my Glastonbury stuff to leave in Sheffield

3rd June: Move to Glasgow

4th June: Start new job

5th-25th June: Try to work out what I'm supposed to be doing at my new job, whilst exploring Glasgow and trying to finish PhD thesis

25th June: After work, get train back to Sheffield, pack bag

26th June: Get the coach to Glastonbury!!!!!

I'm a bit gutted about Ibiza, but given that I'll be saving money not spending £20 a drink, those are all funds for the Glasto pot

Mate I really hope it wasn't this place that set you back on your thesis ;)

Haha no - well, arguably I would have finished it a little earlier if it hadn't have been for time spent thinking about Glastonbury, but my deadline is actually 30th September. The problem is that I accidentally got a job starting earlier than is ideal, hence the mad rush to finish before I start there.

My supervisor actually used the phrase - "I think you can definitely submit before Glastonbury" in the meeting we had earlier

What you lot got lined up for the run in to the festival? I was hoping for Bearded Theory for a nice warm up but the coffers din't allow for it. But we've still got a bit going on:

25th May - 2nd June - Off work for half term and a 4 day trip to Germany to visit family.

8th June - Work summer party. Basically a party in a field, with Croissant Neuf supplying the  tent and bandstand. Bands, DJs, free bar and food.

16th June - My birthday

18th June - Mini Hew's 5th birthday

Hey...we share a birthday. Hope you have a good one ?

Fair play no letting up for some of you on the run in to Glastonbury.

Other than a few spontaneous piss ups in my local I'll be taking it very easy other than work which will be full on.

I have Glastonbury Vegas then boomtown over a 6 week period so need to keep a lid on things.

I've got friends that are doing the ibiza opening weekend on bank holiday then junction 2 in the run up to Glastonbury. Sounds amazing but I think I will be a bit fresher than them by the time we all hit the farm.
