Haven't checked this thread for a few days.

Has anybody compared the official line up release to the line up that was made on this forum that everybody thought was real and had been leaked? How does it compare?

plenty on it, but they're mostly acts that are touring anyway that most people could have guessed.

several of the more surprising acts on the actual lineup weren't on the guessed one.

some acts that were expected from the guessed one weren't on the actual one.

in short: not much use really.

I've always wondered wtf this picture was, thought it was Marilyn Manson in a mask for some reason. Stumbled across it today so now i know.

The Phantom. :)

I have Winslow to thank for that actually. I randomly stumbled upon a description of Phantom of the Paradise a few months back and thought 'hey I recognise this from eFestivals' and checked it out and it was a fantastic film.

Couple new Blur songs just released. 'Ong Ong' is the best yet, and the first one to live up to their last album. Could see it being fantastic on the pyramid.

They were excellent on Later.... Definitely still got it to headline.

Gaga's not headliner status, in my opinion. Maybe a few years ago but not now.

She might appeal to a certain section of the Sunday crowd though especially if she wheels on Tony Bennett part way through.

I remember only 2 short years ago people were wetting themselves on here over the thought of Lady Gaga headlining as well. Has she had that bad of a fall from grace? I can't say I take much notice of her.

aye i was probably one of those people. imo, her first album (and mini album) were brilliant, but everything since has been pretty damn mediocre. her last album, Artpop, was just a mess - she seems stuck in a bit of a crossroads; wants to be weird, edgy and genre breaking, but also wants to release big chart climbing pop songs. the result is just muddled and a bit shite, and she hasn't really released a decent single in a long time. surprised none of the other festivals (TITP, V etc) have nabbed her as a headliner though - wonder if that's their decision or hers

The Fame sold nearly 3 million copies in the UK, Artpop just over 200,000. Then she did that Cheek To Cheek thing with Tony Bennett which kinda came and went. I'm sure she'd still have no trouble selling out an arena tour but as for Glastonbury I couldn't see her troubling the headline slot anymore.

My music is for Phoenix! Only she can sing it. Anyone else who tries, DIES!
