Blur very recently denied their appearance

the way fleetwood said they weren't gonna be there would make them massive twats if they did show up.

Dunno if the festival would re-book macca

It won't be madonna, or kylie or any female now I reckon.

Taylor is out of the picture if the comments about the last headliner are true.

It ain't the purple one

There's evidence against literally every remaining name - we can either say that its because something must of recently changed, or it could be someone we've mentioned before but glossed over a bit.

& before people list names, it 100% will not be AC/DC or Muse.

We should be cautiously looking at the chances of Queen... Libertines or..

...

Mumford & Sons..

You can see on the new map that the Pyramid field will be extended past the path at the back again like in 2013 for the Stones.

Only explanation is Zeppelin or Floyd for Sunday headliner.

Thankyou, goodnight.

Maybe after dolly and ed's massive crowds they just thought - lets keep it this way in the future.

You say some silly things but please tell me this one's a joke?

It would be shit, really fucking shit but I'm not firmly in this boat that it's either Blur, Fleetwood Mac or Macca. When two of them have said more than once they aren't doing it and I wonder if they'd even book Macca again.

All providing Neil's info is right and they haven't actually had someone firmly signed for months now! If it really was done last week or so there's a high chance it could have been a last minute / ring a mate booking.

And Will i'm not suggesting them as a major possibility but if the final headliner was booked a week or so ago and there's other shows to sell there's nothing excluding Mumford & Sons as they are free and fit the bill for that suggestion. I'l say it again so no one twists my words, I don't think it is is them - but they should be considered, even if they have a smaller chance than some of the other candidates.

They aren't gonna book Mumford on a 2-year repeated, going to the effort of breaking their R&L exclusivity in the process, instead of bumping up Florence.

If they haven't bumped her up it's because they've found a more suitable alternative. Mumford returning after 2 years wouldn't be that.

This doesn't make a blind bit of difference does it? I don't mean that in a taking the piss way...I mean, I'm guessing you're just having a laugh about the layout and extension by the Pyramid? Surely the map and Glasto's whole layout this year isn't related to an act?! They just think that's a better way to do it!

I'm in the resale camp tomorrow (twatted at the moment - nerves, excitement, whatever, the alarm is set!)...but 'if' all roads are pointing to Blur, I'd be one smiling mother f*cker. If it was F.Mac, I'd be very happy. Blur would be my main choice out of the two.

Something is telling me it is neither of these two whatsoever. I'd bet money that it's neither.

(although Neil did have info that it was a replacement, and also why would they hold back it's announcement if it wasn't for contractual reasons - i don't believe that they'd have them unannounced purely for the fun of it).

No, I've had no info that it's a replacement. Things suggest to me that it is, but that could be wrong.

I do have info that the 3rd headliner "has other shows".

A week ago Emily said again - to my face, without me prompting her - that it's not Coldplay.

To your face? A face is like a symbol - and symbol is Prince so it must be Prince!

I'm joking. It seems we're in silly season :D fun though. I think it'll turn out a disappointment though them having other shows that might be keeping it secret does leave a thread of hope. Resale to worry about first

Is the has others shows info 100% concrete though?

Gotta be Blur or FM surely?, it's just who's guess is correct.

I can only repeat what one of the most senior Glasto staff told me.

I've no reason to think it's a porkie, that person has only told me accurate things previously, but he might have decided to tell me a porkie I suppose - tho I doubt it.

Ah okay, if it's the info from them then fair play. I would think you'd be told nothing at all rather than that info if they wanted to stay completely cagey.

    • All of these were published in July of their respective year. Appreciate the festival is a little later than normal but it must surely be live in the next 48 hours? The first events start in five days! 🤣
    • Took the words out of my mouth. He never misses.   Definitely adds fuel to the fire.
    • Gavin Leigh Davis on Instagram, the Fabrizio Romano of tour leaks, says Sam Fender outdoor shows and likely festivals next year. Didn't explicitly mention Glastonbury but adds more to the rumour
    • I think a lot of you guys don't see Tate McRae as headliner material however she was originally billed to play back in 2025 and had to pull out (https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/glastonbury-2025-headliners-revealed-tickets-line-up-1235915362/). She sold out out all of her arena shows in 2025 and just brought in huge crowds at Oshega and Lollapalooza. Given that she's gearing up to release the second album it lines her up for a tour run in her same gap as she's usually over here over Glaso weekend. I wouldn't rule her out.
    • I’d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.
