Steveb72
Hi all, a newbie on here and going to my 1st ever Glastonbury in June and I can’t wait, like a kid at Christmas. Getting the coach from Liverpool on the Wednesday and just wondering if people had any tips for stuff to do on the Wednesday and Thursday. And any other advice for a Glasto virgin? Thanks. 3

jyoung
I'll be on the coach from Liverpool on Wednesday as well, Steve. Wed and Thu are great to walk around the site and get your bearings. Find your best route to and from places you know you'll be spending a lot of time and just have a good old explore, really!

Same here....I just hope that whichever newbie bagged 'our' tickets will respect the place...can't bear the thought that they went to someone who trashes the place and leaves all their sh*t behind.
Ayrshire Chris
Best advice is to just wander from area to area drinking in the atmosphere, working out where the different stages are, finding bars with some live entertainment. You will be totally amazed by the enormity of the place and the incredible sense of friendliness and cameraderie. When darkness descends it transforms into a magical party. Wooderson
Its one of the only places on earth where wellies are as equally necessary as a sunhat/sunglasses. Prepare for both eventualities. Compeeds, socks, broken-in walking boots etc etc. This is key. Apart from prep for the elements, don't find yourself a slave to the schedule and don't booze too much and fuck it all up.
