well, you obviously are, if only a little bit. :)

Just a shame my one little bit of gossip is attached to such tragic circumstances ?

Yep, was just thinking that this has to make the Liam G Saturday info a bit doubtful? Can't imagine they'd do this. Even though they don't perfectly overlap in terms of time slots, it would kill the Courteeners set, surely.

Surely if The Cure are saturday pyramid they'd have 3 hours which would easily cover other headliner and sub, no?

It did when that Libertines secret gig happened, and come to think of it when everyone had to leave early to see arctic monkeys in 2013!

Haha wow. That's an incredibly unfortunate run for them. Liam G would surely have the biggest crossover of the lot though (though I suppose AM headlining is a much bigger draw than Liam G solo).

Chems at eden project friday night, so hopefully that means tame impala rumour is good, I'd rather the Streets sub stormzy than potentially be the other stage headliner that night, will be gutted if the other stage headliner for friday is naff(for me at least)

If previous times are an indicator they'd be starting as Liam G was finishing so it'd be dead to begin with then fill up.

Ha it seems they're destined for half of their crowd to not be there for half their set most times.

Streets subbing Chems seems about right.

Nah cos we had word before today that TDCC and C&TQ were Other subs. Courteeners on the middle pin puts Two Door Friday and Christine Sunday.

Also we’ve heard before that The Streets were offered Other head or Pyramid sub, so I’d be inclined to think the latter if the former is/was all booked up.

    • Ah, that is interesting and ruins my theory a bit!!   I think my point just about holds though, and coming full circle on this discussion, being a sizable band such as Muse and not being able to sell out two O2 dates very quickly or at all doesn’t fill me with confidence that they be able to do a decent job selling a stadium tour…although maybe if Muse do something about their pricing, maybe they can!
    • I’ve said it elsewhere too but Emily Eavis said a 2028 headliner was booked, to me that’s only going to be someone the size of Oasis or Taylor Swift
    • Christ didn't even see that!
    • It does feel very bland. It would certainly spell another year (my third, I think) away from Pyramid headliners for me. That doesn't mean they aren't worthy, though. I don't follow what any of them are up to, as it isn't my thing. Good luck to them.   You would think coming off a fallow year, they would want one big hitter. 'Big hitter' is obviously open to debate, but that was/is Madonna. Let's have it right. The eggs have gone in that basket, and it seems (as far the rumours go) that it's blown up. So now you're left with another plan B/replacement headliner.   I'm still of the opinion that Oasis will do it, before the Oasis thing is all said and done. Probably 2028, if they can come to an agreement. It may transpire that 2027 is bland (or at least to some of us), and 2028 is a bit... wild.   Again, though, none of us categorically know ANY of the headliners, as it stands.
    • Second go.....    Still f**king fantastic - Well done WIlliam Orbit -  Bugman & Trimm Trabb mega tracks - No Distance Left To Run hauntingly Beautiful
