Looking forward to another Friday night refreshing efestivals to see if parson jack got into the secret foo fighters gig.

Genuinely, one of the most memorable moments on here. The night we all lived through parson jack.

The one and only night in the last 30 years I’ve ever attempted poetry !! Bad as it was ... the result was so great (not from the poetry I hasten to add ) :)

Foos were terrific tonight in Glasgow,  and a great version of AC/DC let there be rock went down a storm. And it didn’t rain. A few moans about the mud but for us glasto goers it was nothing .  Certainly not the wellie swallowing mud of 2016!

He said whilst supporting the foo fighters on sat that they would be back on Glasgow on Feb 2020.

I could see Feb '20 being the end of their tour cycle until at least the festival circuit. It will have been a year since they started the tour with the UK shows in smaller venues.

@Tommy101 academy size are you thinking? They've done that size before though.

I'd guess a big academy tour probably with Ally Pally as the big date? They've done Brixton before so I'd guess they'd want to step up.

How popular are Slipknot? They were one of those bands who a few people at school listened to back in the day and I would recognise a few songs but a bit heavy for my liking.

I would have said more a Brixton Academy band than the O2 but clearly what do I know.

They're pretty big, album went to #1 recently.

They'll sell out arenas without breaking a sweat.

Was reading an interview the other day, and they consider arena shows to be "intimate". So yeah, they're pretty huge tbh

    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.

    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
