Honestly I've really only heard a little bit about them from my uncles and my dad and I can't really comment on how much of an impact they had. They could very well be worthy of a spot there, personally I didn't feel like I could include people who I've never watched and know very little about.

Any thoughts on this? Think British Bulldog, William Regal and Drew McIntyre are all definitely on there for me, I'd probably pick Paige for the fourth.
-
Not that people are annoyed at, it's your reasoning that it's 'just the sniffles' and that it isn't that bad when, as apparently needs to still be explained to people.. PEOPLE ARE FUCKING DYING
-
Why are you trying to dodge the fact that people are dying who otherwise would have lived and that that is clearly a bad thing and that a lot of those people who are dying are not just dying of the fucking 'sniffles'
-
Fucking hell....

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/coronavirus-deaths-england-wales-excess-ons-covid-19-a9509871.html Almost 50,000 excess deaths, a lot of those due to this. This isn't just people who would have died anyway as you're suggesting, there are thousands of people who would have been alive if not for this. Get a fucking grip
-
People are fucking dying you moron. Young and old, just because the risk is smaller doesn't mean it isn't there. And those 'sniffles', even if thats all you get, might be worse for somebody you pass it on to. A festival isn't worth people fucking dying
-
I mean its better than fucking Lesnar.. at least now I'm pretty interested in where they go with Otis. I'm pretty sure he ain't winning a world title anytime soon, but I'm curious to see what they do. They could do something with Mandy (Mandy using the briefcase on Bayley? They could probably get away with saying thats allowed), with Mandy turning heel again. Or alternatively I'd like to see the briefcase change hands a few times, keep the suspense up a bit because people wouldn't know who would be cashing it in, never mind when.

At least they're taking the opportunity to do something different. Even if it sucks, I think doing things like this while they have the chance is the best thing to do.

The Edge 24 documentary on the network is fucking excellent. Definitely worth a watch.

I dont think its the 10k capacity that warrants it, its the price. Its an amazing festival but its becoming fairly pricey now. I don't think they'd be able to get away with a lot of the headliners they've had before. I agree AFI and JEW are decent sized headliners but not really any bigger than You Me at Six (4th down at Reading last year, headlined NME a few years ago and their last tour was a decent size and sold well) or Frank Turner. I feel like they'll have a really hard time growing if they cant start offering bigger headliners, which surely would mean the kind of bands who would play 3rd down Reading. Looking back at the last few years headliners, a few of them seem a lot smaller. Twin Atlantic aren't doing massive shows and played 7th down at Reading last year (3 spots below YM@6), so thats another band realistically out of the headliner pool. Some of the bands who headlined a few years ago (Nothing but Thieves, Frank Carter ATR, potentially Slaves too when they're active again) would be good bookings as they're on the rise.

Yeah headliners at Trees really ought to be 4th/5th down at Reading size. Probably leaning towards the top end of that with the price increases, start aiming for 3rd downs too (Frank Carter for example doesn't seem out of reach for Trees).

Yeah a bit too long for me although I did enjoy it (just really should've been 5,10 minutes less).

Genuinely might be my favourite 'match' I've watched for a long time. Fair play to WWE. They were in a weird as hell situation but in my opinion they gave us one of the better Wrestlemanias, especially in recent history.

Yeah seems about right. Seems insane that we're potentially approaching 1% of the population having it. Yeah I'll be interested to see how it plays out once we get the antibody tests, I suppose at least for the purpose of knowing more about the virus it could be really helpful
-
What I'm really interested to see is how many people actually do have the virus, and just haven't been tested because their symptoms were only mild or even just had none at all. I remember a while ago the government saying they thought that between 5 and 10 thousand people had the virus. If that number has increased at the same rate as detected cases, I wonder how many people actually have been infected by now..
