Can't remember if it's been said here already but Let's Eat Grandma to support Chrvches next year. Not a bad combo at all.

Saw that on Twitter this morning, got Ally Pally tickets with Mrs Q so I'm happy with this!

Niiiice, I was 80% sure I'd go to the Chvrches tour, but Let's Eat Grandma are more than enough to take that to 100. Still, would be nice to get a headline tour from them; there probably will be one later next year announced around the time of this Chvrches tour I'd assume.

I keep hearing bad things about Metallica live. Multiple friends have said theyve seen them (at different shows) and that they've been some of the worst concerts they've ever been to...

Seen them 10 times. Only shit once and that was in 1987.

Thought they were brilliant at both Glastonbury and Reading the year after.

Never been a huge fan of Metallica but enjoyed both times I've seen them.

Has anyone seen Childish Gambino? Is he good live? I have a chance to see him at the o2 (if it doesn't get cancelled/postponed) but it's an effort to get back from, especially on a Sunday night so am a little on the fence about it.

Saw him at Brixton Academy a few years back (2014 I think?) and it was good. May be one of your last chances to watch him play live so I'd probably head down.

That's my current line of thought. The more I listen to his earlier stuff the more I'm enjoying it too. I think I'm more likely to regret not going.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
