Muse secret John Peel set please. They're doing a surprise set at some festival in Hamburg tomorrow so you know.

That was last week. How do I know that and you don't?

That says something about Muse when they are downgrading as far as Ashton Gate

It's the biggest venue in Bristol so if they wanna play the city then they have to play that stadium. Bon Jovi play it quite often I believe.

Ah I just saw it on their website when I went on it yesterday. Didn't check the date of the article just assumed it was this Friday.

Only stadium allowed is the Millennium Stadium.

Heard a fairly strong rumour flying around that Elland Road in Leeds has a gig booked for next summer. It may not be on Muse's list of currently-announced cities - but part of me wonders. There's only so many stadium tours that go through the UK each summer and given Take That have booked the John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield and Metallica have left little room for extra dates, you never know.

(I'll be honest, more hedging on a Liam Gallagher w/Courteeners type deal though, perhaps a one-off Glastonbury week.)

Arctic Monkeys? I know they’re from Sheffield but maybe they haven’t been able to secure a hometown venue for a big Yorkshire show?

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
