  1. Definitely agree, great back catalogue, charismatic front man, and (from what I've seen) they put on a quality show! I'm always surprised R+L haven't given them a proper headlining slot instead of a pointless co-headline
  2. Any thoughts on the best auto-refresh tool for Chrome? Obviously looking for something that stops refreshing when the page changes?
  3. What details do you need to enter on the booking page? Reg. Number Name Postcode? Is that right for everyone you're buying tickets for?
  4. Good to know that I'm right at the cutting edge of new music!
  5. Not sure about Wolf Alice, but I definitely agree with the sentiment. It would be god to see an act get the bump up to headliner because of the quality of their live performance rather than the number of streams they've had, or because of the size of their presence on social media. The only example of this I have personal experience of was Gogol Bordello headlining Bestival in 2006, they were still relatively unknown in the British mainstream, but they were (and possibly still are) an amazing live act. It would be nice if Glasto could do the same for some lesser known, acts
  6. Is he dead? I knew he disappeared to become a born again Christian or something
  7. Whens that ever stopped an act from headlining!
  8. I think this issue combined with the 'established acts vs bump up' argument. I think the acts listed there lack a bit of credibility, but there are acts that maybe deserve a shot that arent considered headliner worthy at the moment, I'm thinking the likes of Frank Ocean, Anderson .Paak, Nadine Shah, Bat for Lashes etc.

  11. I like to pretend that a loss of focus on the environmental impact, or a more right wing political stance would put me off, but in reality it would be more expensive tickets, and restricting the booze that you can take. Booze and Bunce!
  12. Lot of people putting the Streets headlining the Other stage, I think they'd struggle with anything bigger than JP. Original Pirate Material is a bona fide classic and A Grand Don't Come for Free is pretty good, but it doesn't make much sense if it's not played in order. Other than those two, their back catalogue is patchy at best, plus the fact I don't really think they're that relevant any more. I'd watch them wherever they played though!
  13. To be fair I think the Pretenders did a pretty good job of it, but in general I agree the slot has been underused, I think it should either be a really big name which is probably out of the question, or something to really blast away the hangovers.
  14. Maybe something a little harder would take your fancy, Mastadon?
