Did someone say on here not long back that The Strokes are doing one of the London summer gigs (All Points East maybe) or have I imagined that?

Must be APE as doubt BST would have them back when they barely got 20,000 odd in at Hyde Park, even with freebies in the run up

That was before freebies. There was way over 20k at the concert.

Yeah, it was pretty full on the night. How many of those punters were on freebies I couldn’t say.

My bad, sure I read the 20k figure somewhere, might have been sales made in the run up. In hindsight if did feel more than 20k though I was pretty wasted after Beck. Can remember both The Strokes and the sound being much better than expected though.

The Strokes are one of my favorite bands that I've yet to see at Glastonbury. Hopefully the festival is on the ball on this one!

Strokes vs The Cure = The Strokes.

Can't see it happening if the Cure are on.

It shouldn't be possible, but one time I saw The Strokes and by about a third of the way through the gig every single one of them had fallen asleep.
