It was quite an exodus from KW but I don’t think all that many left Radiohead. I actually joined Radiohead half an hour into their set. If the pyramid has an act like KW or Stormzy then their should be a strong rock act on the other stage and decent alternative styles elsewhere. My mate was so blitzed he went to see status quo acoustic set when Radiohead was on. To this day he claims they were top notch!

Loads left Radiohead early doors. Daydreaming was hard to hear in places and because the screens weren't on people just got fed up.

Yeah, I actually did go to Radiohead, albeit arriving part way through the set.

I should have been tipped off by the never-ending stream of people going past me in the opposite direction.

We came into the Radiohead crowd and there was quite a few there, but by the time we left about 45 mins later the crowd had shrunk dramatically. Past the relay speakers you could've driven a jeep around and avoided what little crowd was left there.

We left and went to Dizzee, I don't know if WH is prone to getting crowds which go so far back that they jam up the track at the back of the field, but that's the situation we found. There was loads at Major Lazer as well when we walked past Other.

I think the Guardian article is the only place i recall seing ref to the Radiohead show "thinning out". It was one of the most miraculous shows ive ever seen and I was rooted to the spot. This sense of occasion was shared with everyone round me before and to this day. If peeps left it, as Jerry Garcia would say "Bummerrrrr."

A fair amount did go. People muttering and leaving ruined the first part of their set but as I said earlier I think it was a lot to do with the screens and the fact a lot barely noticed they started. After that initial exodus around song 5/6 though the crowd weren't moving anywhere and after Everything In Their Right Place the crowd was as glued as anything I have ever been at.

I burst out laughing at how perfect the start of that track sounded. Weird involuntary reaction. Had to be there.

There's a mass exodus for most Pyramid headliners, that's the nature of the festival. People go to check out what the big deal is and invariably a chunk of people get bored and move on.

The difference between Kanye and Radiohead is one was a complete let down, and the other played Let Down.

10 mins before the Flaming Lips, the crowd was pretty sparse, which filled up quickly. Someone I know vaguely started at Radiohead and went to the Park. He said it was a real wave of people. doing the same.

If The Strokes get announced for APE, can they really go onto headline? or is it firmly one or the other?

They would do well to sell it out at £70(approx), and I can't see the Glastonbury lineup being any later than late March this year, so that affects them being able to shift tix, which APE would not sign up for… surely.

Nick Cave, Catfish, Christine, The National, The XX… all sub-headline level acts for Pyramid really

Which festivals only have headliners that would also headline Glastonbury?

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
