You made Kendrick and Fleetwood Mac angry because you spelt their name wrong. Led Zeppelin won't be there next year as there was a report on nme ruling out Fleetwood Mac led Zeppelin and Madonna for Glastonbury 2019. The 1975 will probably play reading and Leeds. Oasis won't play it next year.

Is Biffy worth a shot at headlining Glastonbury in 2019.

It’s a bold choice for rumours, but my issue is where each act would be placed.

Macca: could technically play any night, but has a gig in the States on Wednesday. Hard to imagine him doing anything but closing the festival.

The Cure: Have a gig at RW on Friday so potentially a Sunday act but if Macca is headlining, far more likely on the Saturday.

Taylor Swift: Another act you’d typically want to place on the Sunday and certainly not a Friday headliner, traditionally.

I’ve been shouted down for daring to suggest such a thing before, but is it conceivable that The Cure might headline Other if Swifty gets the Pyramid on Saturday night?

Why not. Metallica were due to headline Other and they are easily one of the biggest bands on the planet. Cure opposite Taylor would fit in with typical Glasto programming - I know the thought of it makes some people ill but its perfectly feasible.

Wow, egg on The Nal's face.

What does this look like? Correct. It's a festival with multiple stages, massive PA and lights, DJs, bars, food vendors selling festival food, merchandise stalls and lots of toilets. The woman on the stage with long legs and her back to us is Taylor Swift. See that crowd? They are densely packed and (whisper it) heavily male. Don't tell me she won't play festivals and is only of interest to teenage girls.

Would you deem her an “annoying bint”?

I think the word I used was 'shouty'. I actually Googled the word bint as it wasn't meant to be particularly offensive - it's from the Arabic and translates as a derogatory word for a woman. So I apologise. However, I find Pink's vocal style not to my taste. If she played I might even check her out.

That’s alright, just seemed a little strong and unnecessary, but anyway. We all move on.

    • Based on previous times that rules quite a lot out of early summer festivals into the August runs.
    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
