I'm looking forward to seeing on the webcam tomorrow the cider bus being dragged in by giant tractors, it will be like the adult farm version of Santa's Slay full of goodies!

Someone had a picture of it queued to get onsite earlier today - hopefully they're not left waiting that long!

The little bit of rain Tuesday-Weds worries me =[

I don't wanna be setting up my tent/queuing in the wet!

Looking at the latest run, I'll be surprised if you even got remotely wet on Weds morning.

Just tried and failed to upload 4 pics of Gate D for you beautiful people. Even one was more than the 2 somethings I'm allowed, sorry.

Suffice to say very muddy; not surprising considering it rained all night and all day. However it stopped around 2pm and by 4 there was already a difference. It's warm sunny and windy now, so can only get better and fast.

It really has taken a soaking though and there are still roads closed onsite.

Great shots on the webcam right now......

Trailing edge of grey clouds giving way to light bright sky beyond over the Tor.

Sun on the webcam! Wasn't sure I'd ever see the like again :)

Met office has it raining basically all week. I've just resigned to the fact that the weather is going to be shit. A bit of sun will be a bonus then. Low expectations is the way forward!

Met Office app says dry Thurs/Fri/Sun

I am a lurker on this thread - every year, it's the same rollercoaster. I seem to remember even in 2010, we thought it would be rain a week before didn't we?

I can't go until friday due to child/business. It's my one weekend of the year where I get to properly let my hair down, so rain or shine* baby, my hair is coming down.

If anyone wants to report back on the state of the ground once they are there, I'll still be here, even if no-one else is.

Hope everyone has an amazing time!

*I'd love some sunshine though please weather gods.

Dear campervan / caravan ticket holder

We're writing to let you know that, due to the rainfall on the Glastonbury
Festival site over the past couple of days, we need to push back the opening of
the east and west campervan fields by a few hours.

Both of the fields will now open at 6pm on Tuesday, 21 June.

Please note that any vehicles which arrive before 6pm will be turned away (with
no exceptions).

We would also expect there to be some congestion at 6pm, so would suggest
coming a few hours later than that if you are able to.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes - but this is being done to
ensure that the campervan / caravan fields are in the best possible condition
when they open.

Thank you for your understanding.

    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
