Did anyone see Points West? Some chap got airlifted off site with nasty burns. Hopefully he's OK.

They also showed some pretty waterlogged pics of the site. I hope it doesn't rain much more tonight!

Yeah I saw about this :( so awful

The buzz was well and truly flattened for me yesterday owing to the terrible weather. This morning however with 24 hours to go, i wake up to a miracle weather report, im all packed, im sat on the bus heading to work here in South London and the early sun is blazing... LIFE IS BLOODY GREAT AND WORTHY AWAITS!!!!!!!

Aquavut....

That name brings back very, very messy memories....

Whatever anyone does at this years festival; do not.... I repeat... DO NOT!!! get far too excited on the Wednesday, smash down 6 pints of brothers and then attempt to drink 8 shots of this brutal drink in a row...

It will not end well....

Hahaha. Oh dear. There's stories about hitting it too hard on the Wednesday, but that takes it to another boozey level.

I'm with the nal - they are all clearly clueless c*nts. It's gonna rain over night now and in the afternoon tomorrow according to that old trollope Carol. This was unheard of 24 hours ago - looks dicey thurs and Friday too. But I'm setting off soon, so I could give a sh*t. Enjoy everyone.

the met office has rain all of wednesday and friday afternoons...? i hope they're wrong!

Read the details don't just look at the pictures.

60% chance of some light rain Wednesday between 5-7

40% chance of light showers Wednesday pm

40% chance of light showers Friday afternoon

BBC TV forecast shows it all to play for - Wednesdays's band of rain looks more significant than on the automated websites, plus Friday we're right on the cusp of some fairly catastrophic rain in the south east - which they admitted was a difficult front to predict.

Could still go both ways.

exactly - if you looked at the pictures Metcheck actually says it's raining everyday until next tuesday - but that includes 0.1mm of rain and 6% cloud on Saturday and many of the other days are similar! rock'n'roll muthafucka!

I saw the forecast as well, and that's putting a a bit negative spin on it.  The storms hitting us is clearly not impossible,  but it's  a worst case scenario, not a fifty - fifty possibility.

I think I'm now sat in "it's tomorrow and I couldn't give a f*ck anymore" saloon when it comes to forecasts of rain. It's going to be dry for much much longer than it'll rain, and that's good enough for me.

Won't stop me spending my all day at work on here though...

It's nice, sunny, warm and slightly breezy  in London, if it's anything like this in Pilton and we don't get anymore rain, I think the conditions on site will ok. We've seen how quick the site can cover in previous years, so fingers crossed!

keep the faith people!
