Not sure I really get this - I kind of hate DnB but happy it’s there. Less people are the DJs I want to see.

I dont mind an area or 2 for anything, but after hours there is no need for so much of the SE corner, Arcadia & a chunk of the Silver Hayes to all be playing DnB at the same time. I'd have the same gripe if it was Techno & I'm into techno!

I want there to be Drum n Bass. People like it, it just isnt for me..  I just would like more variety in the SE corner to be honest.

I did see Sunil Sharpe in the old Cave in 2016 and liked the venue much more than Samula so hoping they can improve on last time round.

Samula looked impressive inside but I much preferred the old Cave, before they opened up the sides and made it less cave-like.

We are pretty sure Murf is Kae Tempest's dog who will be barking over DnB beats

Could be Roisin Murphy doing something similar to the livestream performance with Honey Dijon?

In all seriousness could it be a Kae Tempest secret set?? They have played Rum shack on Thursday at least twice before that I have been to. I thought they would be way too big to this time but perhaps pseudonym for secret set???

I hadn’t heard of anyone on there. My mate says Imogen and FJAAK are both decent bookings though.

Yeah Fjaak are sick, a big booking - Big techno club night headlining act.

Also can’t recommend yung Singh enough, mad Jungle and UKG stuff with occasional Punjabi twists

It is a possibility, however I read on a different thread that Kae doesn't want to do as many sets this year so they can enjoy the festival more.  No idea how reliable that info is though!

Maybe it's just wild speculation of course but if Murf is playing on Thursday I might go and investigate.

It wouldn't be efests without it!  As you said, definitely worth checking out if it's on a thursday.

So have we only got the block9 lineup left out of the SEC areas or have I forgotten one?

Does the Unfairground get an announcement? I genuinely can't remember.

According to the thingy Unfairground had its own poster in 2019 as well.

To be fair, I forgot the  Unfairground even exists.

Excellent.  Hopefully will have a few more surprises in store

    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
