Said a few weeks ago I don’t know he isnt considered.

but I truly dread for these tour dates plus the price

He desperately needs to headline Glastonbury it’s an absolute slam dunk booking.

He has a crazy level of cross appeal. I feel like even my mum knows his songs… and she doesn’t listen to anything like his music.

Weird one innit. Aphex Twin is an undisputed electronic music legend but the idea of a field full of people listening to "syro u473t8+e" (piezoluminescence mix) in a sunny field at 4pm is uhhh.... Actually, make that happen.

Wonder if fatboy / chems would get called up for it in 20 years or so. fatboy would probably do a cracking job

He got very mixed reviews from Coachella, so not exactly a slam dunk on the live front.

He was drafted in last minute to be fair.

His superbowl performance was good, even spawned a meme out of it haha

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
