Cleaned the house ready for the dog sitter. Cleaned & proofed our walking boots hoping that trainers will suffice.

I do the clean sheets thing whenever I go on holiday too.

And another Glasto tip - you know all those charity bags you don't like to throw away? Bung a couple in. They take up zero space and you never know when they will come in useful.

Used to do this before a massive session where I would go out on a Friday and get home on Sunday night. Take away and 13 hours in a clean bed.

Gone through the Clashfinder with a highlighter. Sometimes four acts I want to see at the same time... But good to have a vague idea.

Clothes sorted, last food and alcohol run done, cool box (bottles of water were put in the freezer on Tuesday night for ice packs) , tested loading everything on the trolley. All set!

Spoke to a woman about speaking to a man about a dog. Had to be done tonight because the guys that run her local kennels are religious and don't work on Sundays.

Am packed! Decanted the spirit into plastic bottles. Confident the weather will be warm and mostly dry with a couple of minor showers… so deffo no wellies needed. Can’t wait!

Skittles vodka complete and decanted. 

Toffee vodka still making me wince/shudder a little so more sweets have been added.

Yep. Was a lockdown thing that got out of hand. Been planning too for a while but I wanted to donate it so kept growing for a while longer. 

Then yesterday dropped my mate at the station thought I'd pop in to the barbers (they didn't remember me, unsurprisingly) to see if they had any appointments free. And the one who did had donated his hair himself a couple of times so knew the drill.

So planned but also spur of the moment.

Very exciting reading this threat. Final touches packing for me today. Haircut booked Tuesday morning before we set off from Scotland Tuesday night.

I'm all packed up and ready to go. After an abysmal drive down the M6 on Friday for Springsteen I've decided I'm not suffering the same on Monday morning, so late evening tonight I'm heading South. Stopping just beyond Birmingham, then onto Bristol to collect 3 of the gang. All of us meeting up Monday night close to CV fields entrance for a - hopefully - rapid drive in Tuesday first thing.

Lashes of rain overnight here. First proper rain for weeks.

Cider dropped off to the walk in freezer at work with a few inches of water in the bottom … will be rammed with crushed ice on Tue and wrapped in space blankets ready for collection from carpark Thurs morning

Got duped into buying Strongbow (not my drink of choice) in Morrisons yesterday in return for a free personalised festival flag. A small price to pay for being able to find my tent!

Last bits bought, 1 litre of Bacardi spiced for £17. 500ml of white rum (plastic bottle bonus) £7 and chucked what ever left overs of shots I had in the cupboard into small fruit shoot bottles. Going by coach this year so not taking any cans. Clothes all packed. Just gotta make something to eat on the coach on Wednesday and I'm good to go. 

Lightest I've packed ever and the most organised too. I'm sure something will go wrong because of that.
