  1. Came out of my kitchen to find my 3 year old had built this ‘interesting’ version of what I can only assume is Carhenge. I’m taking it as a sign. Announcement incoming?! 👀
  2. Hello! I live here and it’s the best (although I am biased!). Definitely check out the King Arthur and the Riflemans (aka ‘the rifes’) is also worth a stop as you wander back down the Tor. If you’re going up the tor, you can bring a reusable bottle and help yourself to spring water on Well House Lane (where the walk to the Tor begins). Also drop into the White Springs before your walk- also there! This website is regularly updated with what’s going on each week: https://glastonbury.uk/whatson/ and ‘normal for Glastonbury’ is an excellent follow if you’re on Facebook too. hope this helps! ☺️ x
  3. How mysterious! It was rammed last year at the Park.
  4. Same! Got inner zone by 09:01! Then tried for my friend who lives in Butleigh at 10:00 and said not local postcode. Weird. Worked every other year.

    2024 Stage Predictions

Definitely not. I’ve only ever managed to get a ticket in general once (today) and I live in Glastonbury. Same for most people here. I always assumed that it’s the super demand for tickets i the local area so less likely…..but who knows?
  6. Contacted See Tickets as it said my registration was deleted. Also re-registered as the email told me to. Then I get a reply saying I now have two registrations! So their purpose of clearing out regs have now resulted in me doubling mine! What a mess! 🤦🏼‍♂️
  7. I’ve had it too, but I still exist. Do I make a new one? So stressful!
  8. We’d also been going since around ‘99. Having a little one certainly makes you feel like you’re doing less, but more faff. However, you do get to see the festival in a completely different way. Walking around slowly, stopping a lot… but seeing his amazement in circus acts, walkabouts, colours, music. It’s actually rather lovely to be so present. You’ll have a blast! ☺️
  9. We took my little one when he was ickle too. Wasn’t a trader but only live in Glastonbury so it was fine for the travel, and we could go in two trips/ had the option to go home if we had to….. we didn’t go back once! A real god send is the area in the Kidzfield for nappy change/ feeding in a bit of peace and quiet with nice ladies to chat with. And staying in the Family Camping was decent too. There’s a late night cafe (Divers) if you are up late at night with little one and need a wander, and there are plenty of parents in the same boat around you. We brought a kids wagon cart thing, but only used it to carry our stuff on site in the end. Couldn’t be arsed with dragging it around everywhere. Instead, my partner and I take shifts in going out with friends/ partying and my boy tends to stay around Kidzfield/ T and C/ Pyramid. Much more space, more enjoyable for him, we’re less annoying for general public. We just stayed in a 4 Berth tent. Nothing special. I hope this helps!
  10. Our group of friends have renamed Sunday “Crying Sunday”. Cat Stevens ‘Where do the children play’ started me off for the day ahead. Looked to the left and to the right of me and there were cryers everywhere. I came home and tried to tell my partner about the crying and started blubbing. I’m amazed I’m not crying, just writing about the crying now. It’s been emotional!
  11. I’m going to agree with everyone else- so much better! Was in the Arcadia- Park debacle last year so was nervous about trying my luck at Arcadia again on Friday night, but it was fine! Wednesday/ Thursday was as usual but I just use it as an opportunity to go to the quieter places to visit the things I’d normally overlook on Friday-Sunday. In fact, I’d go as far as to say I find the Sunday the most annoying day as there’s more of the day ticket lot in with chairs, blankets, cool boxes and taking up premium space. Food stalls busier then too I think. Or it just feels more irritating as I’m knackered by then…
  12. Got duped into buying Strongbow (not my drink of choice) in Morrisons yesterday in return for a free personalised festival flag. A small price to pay for being able to find my tent!
  13. Lovely post! You too. 😀 It’s so close, I can almost taste it. Even excited about seeing the festival road signs as I drive about now. Not long to go! 🎪
  14. Yes to that! 🙌🏼 suncream and hat!
  15. Definitely leggings all the way for me! Comfy, warm, easy to pull up and down for toileting. I go for dress with leggings, shorts with leggings or just leggings and a top. Warm hoodie or furry coat for late in the stone circle. I bring trainers and walking boots and have wellies in the car for emergency. Money belt with multiple pockets is an essential for me too. I lose things otherwise! Oh yes, and plenty of sparkles/ eco friendly glitter. 🌈
