A walk into the local town centre (fitness) to oxfam to enter another Glasto competition (def not fitness, but giving to charity and still clinging onto the possibility of being at the festival)

I don’t think so, low down on the park, Avalon? Only been the once so unsure if they’d suit Avalon. I see Hobo Jones and Elvana in the tent last year seeing Elvana next week in Colchester which should be fun

Love the 1st 2 days. Wednesday is exploring, I think a part of glade was open, and meeting up with others at the cider bus early evening, then attempting to find somewhere to watch the fireworks (although that did not happen this year 🍺) Thursday was spent around the SE corner - last year for sports bangers and Mike skinner then more exploring.

My first reaction was, that is shite, but after looking more closely away from the headliners they'd be more than enough to get me through the day. If the headliners aren't your thing it gives you an opportunity to see new bands, the SE Corner, Silver Hayes, Arcadia - the options are endless. I'm hoping that the average festival goer looks at the lineup and thinks, "not for me i wont bother going" - meaning more chance for me in the resale!

Great post. I'm agree, while i have heard some of her tracks, pyramid headliner would seem strange. Shoot me down if i am wrong here or if this has been mentioned previously - I heard that Coldplay play for Glasto for free - if true, would their fee then be given to someone like Madonna (if speculation was true, was demanding more money) would the Eavis' consider ?
