i'm currently sat here thinking that Glastonbury might think it's important to announce before it gets cancelled in case it gets cancelled - as it'll help drive future ticket sales in a time when people might be reluctant to buy tickets for big events.

Any chance they know that big events are being cancelled up until a certain date and it doesn’t reach Glastonbury’s date so they’re announcing?

If it is released today, to protect your peace, I suggest avoiding the comments section from social media. The naysayers and doom mongers will be out in full force and ironically most of them will have no interest in attending.

The mood is fragile atm, we're better off not being reminded of what could possibly occur. Today is a day for hope and positivity.

Just what we need. Im not even mad it means my prediction was off by a day.

To be fair, you may well have originally been right.. but there ain't no way there gonna be dropping a poster on Friday 13th in the middle of a global pandemic!

No.

Neil has also had a heads up before that it’s happening but in a couple of days.  So there’s nothing guaranteed to be immediate

But these were whispers, completely different than a heads up.

What does it all mean?

    • I saw this just after it was posted yesterday, I barely paid attention to it. I didn't realise it had blown up in the way it has. I'm sure (kind of) that Sziget will be unaffected - it brings in billions of huf over a very short period. Its consumption, compared to the rest of Budapest, will be tiny in reality. That said, nothing wrong with encouraging people to use less energy whether it's now or in the future.
