I was also at Wembley gig. I didn't hear the comment but from what I've read I'd say it's definitely happening. Combined with Emily saying "watch this space" when discussing them. 

As for anyone saying it's a weak booking. This is laughable. They are playing 2 nights at Wembley stadium and have countless singalong hits.

Exactly. Too late now to be honest. Without Buckingham would rather they weren’t doing it so it won’t be as hard to get tickets. I mean they’ve only been a touring band the last fucking 40 years people have had their chance to see them.

I'm a huge fan of Neil Finn so hearing them sing together is actually more interesting than with Lindsay there but I do get why other's would be missing him. 

I don't miss his contributions such as Tusk and My Little Demon which live would go on and on.

It's not a weak booking, in an objective sense, just a terrible one from a subjective sense.

I'd like it noted for the records, that while I'm ambivalent at best regarding Fleetwood Mac, I cannot fucking stand Crowded Fucking House.

I’m ambivalent as to who or what plays where tbh, matters not as I’ll always find something else just as good. I’m not a fan btw.

Problem as I see it is that a pre-announced headliner such as FM will make it, given how dedicated 

a) even fecking harder to get tickets

b) will mean that thousands will potentially only be there for one band, meaning they may well change the demographic significantly, poss to the extent they’ll not even turn up till Friday/Saturday and/or bugger off straight after 

(Point b may or may not be a bad thing)

For those worrying about the impact come ticket day it’s worth noting that Wembley was far from sold out last night, despite what the official blurb says. Huge swathes of empty seats.

From what I saw too the sort of people who pay big money for FM tickets don’t look like the sort of people who will rough it in a field for five days.

Can’t see it having too much impact on demand to be honest.

I was there last night and it certainly didn't sound anything like a confirmation to me. More of a thank you along the lines of 'it's great to play for you all, from stadiums to muddy festivals and everywhere in between'

On a side note thought they were supurb - Stevie Nicks voice is still incredible and those hits on the pyramid would be a real moment.

I was at the gig last night, I’ll admit I was a bottle of red wine deep when he said this, but I think it’s been taken out of context, I heard it in the past tense. They were saying they’ve played some muddy/rained out fields in England. I don’t think think it was a Glastonbury hint in the slightest!

Either way, they timed their ‘confirmation’ well because Emily is gonna be doing loads of press over the next couple of weeks where she’ll surely be asked about this and we can likely gauge the answer. If she says “we’ll have to see” then it’s sealed.
