According to the official site tickets might start being sent out next week.  Isn’t that earlier than the past? Always thought around end of May was when I checked the ticket tracker and anxiously looked out for the postie.

Whatever the dispatch date ... we always get them late ... its bloody see tickets they like to make you nervous at least 5 times per year ... I think it is in the terms and conditions of getting a ticket

Nope. The longer it's in my possession, the more scope there is for me to do something stupid with it.

This!! Whilst it arriving increases the excitement, I end up hiding it somewhere so safe that even I struggle to remember.

We have a ticket drawer. I highly recommend it as before we implemented this system I could never remember where I put them but now we put them in there as soon as we get them and always know where we are with them. If we buy any print at home tickets we do that straightaway as well. Although now I occasionally buy tickets with Dice and give myself a heart attack wondering where the tickets are until I remember.

I agree

Naw, seeing my photo printed on the ticket is the final confirmation that I am actually going! The sooner the better is my philosophy. They go to my secret place, after making a photocopy, and thereafter checked every day. In the event of fire or other natural disaster then it’s the tickets first , then the dog I would rescue.

You can always replace a dog but glasto tickets?!

I'm always baffled when people can never find their stuff, apparently it's really unique to be organised :P Also when camping/travelling, I always keep everything in the same place and in a 1-m perimeter around my bag, too afraid to lose something. But I get it, organisation takes time, time you often think is better spent differently

Mine get stuck to the side of the fridge with multiple powerful magnets.
The side of the fridge is for important things. Front of fridge for child art appreciation.

    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
    • I mean...I do think it all needs more regulation, but god knows how when it's all so global...but there's so much stuff on there that is messing with our little minds. But also, he has given these companies till September, and well...he'll surely be gone by then. I think social media ban for under 16s will likely happen, but I think regulating it for everyone is better. It's the not the kids we should be worried about, it's all those middle aged doom scrolling keyboard warriors like me.
    • I agree the prices are tough for locals. You can see if Porto timetable is the type that works for you and it's a terrific city. Also cheaper. https://www.primaverasound.com/es/porto/lineup-porto
    • thanks XXialac! i guess for us the most important aspect will be a festival that starts very late in the day, specially in these southern countries were it can be really hot! The combination of visiting a new city, having good lunches and enjoying a festival is a absolute must for us. Also, we like headliners but the undercard is just as important; truly enjoyed Men I trust, NewDad, Big Thief this year so from that angle it is not really a big thing if a festival is somewhat smaller.    Apparently my bad, i had 5 in my system but 0.5 (10%) increase is still huge. I am not sure how teenagers can afford these prices............
