I was considering getting Interpol tickets this morning but I think I'll give it a miss since they're £50 before delivery. That makes Glastonbury seem good value for money never mind all the cheaper European festivals they'll be at.

£32 for Brighton on Wednesday night, I'm tempted considering I'm getting the coach from there Thursday morning. Will make a late call.

They’ll probably grab a couple of good supports from APE for that. Not that you won’t have chance to wait, I imagine.

I’m confident of a Glasto placing but there’s still every chance that they could end up at RW on the Friday and completely banjax Glastonbury plans.

Yeah I don't see it selling out, the only time I've seen them is when they did that NME Awards tour and that was because they ended up giving away free tickets in a competition so I'm not sure how big a deal they are in Scotland, I suppose they were pretty high up at TRNSMT last year.

They did a similar thing for Belle & Sebastian at the same venue last summer, did a competition for 5 pairs of free tickets but everyone who entered got tickets. I don't see Interpol selling as badly as that but given the price I'm hoping for something similar.

Saw a few people in the Trnsmt thread commenting on how few people were there though.

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
