anyone know what time concerts finish at Cardiff Motorpoint, and whether it'd be safe to catch a train at 10.47pm without missing the end of the show?

They tend to finish between 10:30-10:45 so you’d be cutting it pretty fine, although the station isn’t far. I think there’s usually one about 23:20 back to Temple Meads if that’s any help.

I’ve come out at various times. Most acts seem to aim to start around 21:00hrs (sometimes earlier if no support) so it’ll depend on the length of their set. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the station too, so that’d have to be factored in, so I think you’ll probably have to leave before it finishes.

Anyone have any parking tips for Gorilla in Manchester? Seeing Mitskee there on Wed.

there's a car park round the corner on Cambridge Street/Hulme Street. Not exactly the most secure, but it's pretty reasonable price wise. Think it's a fiver up to 4 hours, or 10 quid for any longer.

Park on the street right outside and it's free from 8pm.

I'm at that "Mitskee" gig GP old son, I'll keep my eye out for you.

Brighton, sweet. And it's not the Brighton Centre - double sweet :)

Concorde 2 will be a great gig. Nice and sweaty! I'll be at the Liverpool show. Liked the last album a lot, so hopefully this one bangs too. Glastonbury could be on the cards.

Bit of Fezza on the Pyramid one afternoon before he struts off to bash some foxes in with his awful son wouldn't go amiss.

Headlined West Holts a few years back, didn't he?

    • Elastica posted last night teasing a return, wonder where they would play if they reformed?
    • I agree but anyone under Rodrigo would be a sub in reality, that day would sell out in under an hour whoever is subbing, in which case Wolf Alice would make a lot of sense   The more unrealistic part of the scenario at this point is Rodrigo headlining
    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
