Seems a bit steep for 50% of Steely Dan, but you know. I can’t believe how much Chic were charging this summer. Absolute fucking madness

i love the Dan, and if they had an hour long set on the Pyramid and they played their best tunes, they’d knock it out the fucking park. I guess i’d go, but would feel a bit dirty/cheap doing so

New Order sold Ally Pally out in less than 4 minutes. That's some going. Fair play to see tickets though for starting the sale at 9:30. It allowed everyone who wanted tickets to drop the grandkids off at school first.

Elton has UK dates in June... too bad he’s elsewhere for the festival.

Sun June 09 2019 – HOVE Central County Ground
Wed June 12 2019 – DUBLIN 3Arena
Thu June 13 2019 – DUBLIN 3Arena
Sat June 15 2019 – CARDIFF City Stadium

Just seen this myself, how much would we say he will be charging for this? Would love to see him.

Saw him about three years ago and prices were in the £40-£90 bracket.

My guess would be £100+ for the seats down the front (excluding the inevitable "super gold mega tier" bollocks) and £60 to sit further back.

Of course with this being his last ever tour he can charge what he wants so it could be a lot more.

Might see how much Hove is.

Fair play, I don't think I'd mind shelling out £60 for Elton tbh, I know I'd have £60 worth of fun.

Think he's a good contender for BST?

Looks like he's busy the two weekends BST usually falls on so unlikely next year.

That said this tour will go into 2020 and I'd put my mortgage on a huge London farewell gig and GF slot in two years time.

Okay now.  Doing a few shows in a row doesn't appear to be an issue either.....

a few... but she's not doing 6 in a row with the Friday at Glasto, to make it a 9 of 10 nights tour

    • Yes, she can just do stadiums and she's probably one step behind when you could have anyway. How Reading works this year though both top two are headlining with Chase probably more a closer due to darkness after Florence. I don't see Wolf Alice in the part of a top 6. If they go back to pure headliner and subs then yes.

    • Wolf Alice are supporting O-Rod in America soon, right? So yeah, I think as a 1/2 that would work. But equally was there any talk of her doing more touring next year beyond her 10 nights at the O2 or whatever it is?   Certainly, I think WA might take a year off themselves in 2027.
