Ashcroft or Gallagher, no, they're Other stage afternoon fodder.

Elbow and Bon Iver would be pretty big in the grand scheme of "an act that isn't a headliner that we got 6 months ago". I have no idea why they wouldn't announce BI though if he was already booked, other than a secret set.

people chucking around headliner level names are living in dreamland.

Emily says lots of things are going to be "amazing" that are just pleasantly OK.

we're all assuming this is going to be a musical act too, could be anything really.

Heard Rolf is out soon. He'd have to be home by 6pm for his tag. Could do an early slot. Not sure it would go down too well.....but it would be a big surprise

Let's be honest, a 'big secret' in the eyes of most punters/the tv audience would be something like Fleetwood, Roses (either of them), Green Day etcetc, but most of those definitely won't happen, and Green Day still seem pretty unlikely.

Bon Iver would be about as big a secret as they could realistically pull off at this stage.

He's about the right size for me (big enough to be a big name but not trump any of the headliners so could still fit on the bill) and has space in the diary between Spain dates. Not sure what 6 months relevance would be, or that it'd be as huge as many people are making it out to be though.

This is an interesting one, 6 months ago being October / November was when his date for Cream Presents: Steelyard (London - 27th May) went on sale and sold out within about an hour.

That said, if you look hard enough you'll find 6 month coincidences for all sorts of people!

Yeah you're right. Add them to Bon Iver as the most likely and biggest possible surprises. Gaga probably the likeliest given previous rumours.
