I’m the same with dry roasted peanuts, can’t go to sleep until I’ve eaten all of them in the house no matter how many there are, so have to be very careful how much I buy.

Depends on the brand for me. If Mrs b clumsily picks up supermarket own-brand dry roasted I can usually take them or leave them. KP or Planters however...

I also completely forgot to factor in during this whole debate about whether The Strokes could sub that they've already got a smaller act than them headlining lol.

You could.say the same about most of the rumoured top acts though. Liam Gallagher is bigger than Stormzy and is probably subbing him.

What a laughable comment by him lol, acts that are 3rd down this year are going to be bigger than Stormzy. By this logic all major festival subs should now be topping Glastonbury and it turned into a medium sized fesrivsm.

Yeah but Liam Gallagher is that popular because of his previous band. The debate has been done several times over why Liam Gallagher wouldn't be booked to headline Glastonbury even if he is arguably popular enough to do so atm.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
