Some Qs

Do my cookie settings make any difference for getting on the page?

People reckon it's easier to get on from abroad, so would using a proxy make it any easier?

definitely not any easier getting them from abroad.

Last 3 main sales I didn't even get to the waiting page. Just an blank error screen all the way. I don't have much hope for tomorrow.

The last 4yrs our tickets have been bought by the same Dutch friends who have been able to get through repeatedly. None of us in England have even come close. In my experience it definitely IS easier from abroad

I really hope so. My son is trying from Moldova, perhaps a first and only Glastonbury ticket success from there?

Afternoon all.

Stress levels on the rise already ahead of tomorrow.

I just wanted to check, I thought I may have dreamt it..

Is there a page to use ahead of the sale tomorrow to plug in details of the group and then save settings to then autofill when (not if) the booking page appears?

Cheers,

Ducky

Anyone got an answer to this question?

Horribly nervous for tomorrow. Not read this thread in a week due to being in Poland (was tempted to stay a few days extra and test this "it's easier from abroad" theory...")

What is the general feeling around the coach sale? Do people think it was any easier/harder than normal?

I appreciate it probably won't mean anything come tomorrow but I'm still clinging on to the hope that the traffic/mud of this year will have put people off!

Because demand always massively outweighs supply, and we've not really got a representative sample on here, it's hard to say whether people trying in the coach sale were any more or less likely this year than any other.

Not unless you've already filled in the booking page before. Which you haven't obviously. Can't be done unless you create a mock page identical to the the See page. Which you can't do as we haven't seen it yet.

So no in short. But if you get kicked out of the page tomorrow after filling in the details then the 2nd time will autofill for you.

Make sure you have your correct address etc saved in autofill settings. That will autofill first time out. You'll fly through the payment page then.

Copy and paste the reg details onto a word doc ready to go. Almost just quick and you don't risk Chrome or whoever autofilling the wrong info.

Have the credit card number too on a word doc too. You can paste that.

Autofill on the reg details page - No (for the first time you get in)

Autofill on the payment page - Yes

I'm in England and I've got through whereas my mate in Scotland never did. It's much much easier in England.

I'll clarify. Much easier from the Netherlands than around London - in my experience of our group trying from about 30 different locations around London and 4/5 in the Netherlands. Can't speak for any other countries but I know for sure my mates out there get in easier. Not just down chance when it happens every time and several times a ticket sale. Unfortunately this year they are at a mate's 30th in the UK so I'm not optimistic but may be for the best with a little one on the way in early April.

Good luck everyone

No thats a myth. As much opportunity getting tickets abroad as in UK.

I was in New York last year with decent internet access and not even a holding page. First time I've ever failed to get tickets

Still can't believe more people don't go for the coach option. Passing up a chance for Glasto tickets seems quite odd to me.

Totally agree with this! In previous years I would only ever go for general sale so I could drive and take as much stuff as I wanted. But after missing out main sale and getting a ticket in the resale in 2015 and then missing out on the main sale last year and not able to try in the resale as was not able to get cover for work that close meant I missed the while festival, I couldn't give up an extra shot at a ticket as I was desperate to not miss 2017! I don't need to take all the extra stuff I won't use in the end and I can go crazier on the Sunday now as I don't have to worry about driving the next day!

Does it make any difference who the lead name is? I've done this a million times but just getting slightly panicky now

the leadbuyer gets the confirmation mail and has to pay the deposits of all,

so it makes a little difference.

:)

    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
