Is anyone else going out tonight to get shit faced to cope with the impending doom of ticket day? I feel like it's a solid coping strategy.

I wish! That is my usual strategy, although failing on ticket day for the last 2 years is worsened with a hangover! I'm 7 months pregnant this time round so no chance of a few calming drinks for me - although I have recently been prescribed diazepam to help me sleep which may be useful tonight!

Good luck eFesters!

I'm in tonight, but invoking the alcoholic ticket gods with cider about 10.30, since I'm picking up my step-daughter from a mate's party.

30 minutes according to the glasto site

I thought it was 26 minutes for some reason though

That was 2015. I remember that number so clearly as it was my first year**

**as has been exhaustively documented in this parish ;)

Quite the opposite. I keep looking at my clock to see if I can go to bed yet

Like Christmas when you're 7, but with the crushing, heartbreaking possibility of no fucking presents when you get up in the morning.

STAY POSITIVE FOLKS!

Ben

Was it?

Surely not, Ben? I'd quite forgotten!

That time of year again. Have about 12 of us attempting tomorrow split over 2 groups. Absolutely fucking bricking it. Apologies as I'm sure this has probably already been asked but can anybody remember in what order the ticket info is requested? (Name, reg no and postcode registered with).

Trying to put a PDF together with everybody's details and reckon the correct order may save some valuable cut and paste manoeuvring time.

I can't believe I just wrote that on a Saturday night.

For the first time ever I managed to bag coach tickets on Thursday, so the pressure is off slightly but I'm still hunting for 3 more for the rest of our group so I'll be joining you all in the scrummage at 9am

Best of luck to all efesters! :D

Random quick question, can anybody give me an idea of how quickly the tickets have sold out the past couple of years please?

Last time I successfully got tickets (but then couldn't go :( ) was years ago, when it was a lot easier. This year I'm finally in a position to go, and I'm having the worst run of luck - wound up in work on Thursday so the best I could manage was a few furtive refreshes on my phone under the desk which stood no chance of getting me a ticket, and I've got to be flipping well in tomorrow too! Not at all amused, but hoping to wangle a slightly later start to maximise f5 times, haha.

Cheers,

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
