Has the Avalon inn moved again?

Who knows. Most of the bars are shown as shifting slightly but that's probably just an artefact of the map rather than a change. Last years map shows it being on the west of the field when it was on the east side anyway.

I hope they give the new JP area some character and make it its own distinct area with its own feel, stalls, tents, etc, rather than the just one stage in the corner of a field. Like the Park are, but on a slightly smaller scale. Its got a lot of potential to become a whole new area, with its own distinct feel, if they want it to

Yeah bit disappointed there doesn't appear to be a bar up there but hopefully if the new location works then we'll see it develop a bit over the next few festivals.

There's no way they woudn't have a bar up there, it just hasn't been put on the map yet I suspect

I was thinking the same about having a bar up there as the closest one now is quite far....will be interesting to see how this progresses

Looks like the dark grey out of bounds area around the Park stage has shrunk, leaving the stage sticking out.

I'm guessing that's just inaccurate, can't get my head around how that would work, or why.

From the gif, it's the other way round, the out of bounds around the Park stage has grown from last year?

What's with Paines and Dairy changing names? They wouldn't do that would they? I can't see any reason for it.

With James Murphy being there and no doubt 2manydj's will be too, I was hoping there might be an extra tent that could turn out to be Despacio but it doesn't look like that's the case. Shame I had one of the best nights of my life in that tent.

I'd love it to make a return it was great, not holding my breath though

It's going to be a long old trek to JP now!

Was saying that to my mate. We had a bit of a dash between Wolf Alice at the Park last year to Circa Waves at JP, made it just in time but this year it's could be a bit of a push to make it between the two in time.

Do we think that the new John Peel and Wood changes will make it louder in Hitchin Hill Ground camping at night? Do we expect late music from those areas? I normally camp at Hitchin Hill for a quiet night's sleep.

I don't recall there being past headliner noise in the past. I guess it will depend on whether its just a stage or it becomes its own area.  I'm hoping we don't get to much camping bleed up the hill as I normally camp at top of wickets /lime kiln so keen to see what this means for our journey into camp

I doubt it. It's the closest venue to the village and they've always been careful to keep the noise levels heard there down. I'd expect the same curfew as they always have so as long as you're not back to the tent before midnight you shouldn't hear any difference.

Wasn't there something about a new fire pit area at JP? Sounds like they are trying to do something more up there.

May have entirely imagined it though.

I suspect you're right.  It's a big old area with JP in the corner. You get the impression they're trying to do something with it.

I do know the WBC plan to move a bar closer - No 2016 bar map as yet so not exactly sure where but I know there was a discussion with GFL a few weeks ago.So there will be one .

So we cant camp in Woodsies now? Darn. That has been my home for a small time in June for the past few years.

Sad news. Been there since we moved behind the hedge in 2002 to avoid the early morning sunshine on the tent, the year New Bands/JP Tent moved too.

It was mostly the same people there every year and they were all lovely.

I'm sure wherever we end up now will be almost as good... :(
