  1. Thank you to everyone that sent love towards my groin previously. Delighted to say, I completed my first ever Marathon at the age of 49, and hated nearly every moment of it. My groin held up (thanks for the advice around not worrying about the 20 mile run @Superscally) Sadly, it was an old knee injury that flared up at the 18 mile mark, meaning I could only walk the last 8 miles. But walk the bastard thing I did. So a personal best was indeed set, and my body (and more importantly my mind) have now retired me from running anything over a half! The one thing that really actually made it worthwhile was being able to raise a decent amount of money for Shelter. Best of luck to everyone else that has runs coming up. I totally salute you and am in awe of those that do this often.

  6. Incredible. Let's not skip over how massive this is entirely aside from it being Billie Eilish. Glastonbury festival is back. After 18 months stuck in limbo going around in circles arguing about the Strokes and Pyramid exoduses, we're finally on the fucking countdown baby.

  12. Hi, usually when an artist come from the US or Australia, they spend 1 month -1 month and a half in Europe. Billie will headline Glaston ' Friday 24th June, so it seems very unlikely she'll be at Sziget.

  13. It's fair to say eFests isn't exactly representative of the nation as a whole. If we had our way the top three would be Radiohead, Nick Cave and The National.

  14. Well done! I walked the last 8 miles too. Turns out little training and nothing beyond 13 miles was stupid (I also shouldn’t have stopped at half way for a quick flapjack as I struggled to get going at all after) Did the half marathon in 2:02 and finished at 5:10 which tells a story 😂 Legs hate me right now!

  15. Should be an easy pass option as well. Not my cup of tea and gutted to think she’s Taylor’s replacement 😢

  21. Thanks - you have just cheered me up no end. 😁 Just picked out around 25 acts in there that I would be all over. Billie replacing what was the dream for me (Taylor headlining on my first ever Glasto) had left me a bit deflated, but seeing that line-up has just reinforced what everyone on here keeps saying - "If you don't like an act, there is plenty more to see". It is so easy for everyone to focus on the big three headliners (which is perfectly understandable) but that line up you have predicted just illustrates perfectly why Glastonbury is so much more than that. All out of upvotes, but a big thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍

  22. This. I put hard no. But what I wanted as an option is “I’m really stoked for the festival and for her fans to have a progressive headliner, however as an old fart i’d rather not experiment with someone who I’ve listened to but has failed to capture my enthusiasm so will likely be somewhere that will be more exciting for me personally whether that’s someone that I have a history of good times with or a new to me act I’m genuinely excited to get on board with for the first time” or summat

  24. 😡😤Absolutely raging. Why give it to a nobody when the fans are crying out for a proper rock band? Muse are right there! I've been a Glastonbury fan for 30 years, but enough's enough. Time to support a real fest, like Isle of Wight.

  27. In answer to the question, saw her in 2019 and quickly reaffirmed that I'm not the target demographic for her brand of lo-fi, breathy pop and I'm comfortable with that. So if I had a ticket, it wouldn't be for me. Another coup for the festival though, as she's easily in the top three of the most popular acts on the planet right now

  31. Good for her and good for the festival. Good for fans and those interested young or older but not for me . I haven't got ticket this time at present but I can't imagine I wouldn't be somewhere else . I've given her a listen but it's not for me . But enjoy those who are up for it

  32. I'll be there I think, shes not my usual musical 'must see' but I actually like here. Bought the frst album on vinyl and have listened to it loads. I spent last Friday watching a few documentaries about her - she's different I'm glad Glastonbury has her, personally I hope she pulls of a blinder of a performance that translates to a headline performance - shes young, relevant and one of the biggest stars on the planet , great booking

  35. And girls! Everyone want Little Simz headlining WH!! I wish Billie the best of luck with it. I hope she smashes it and that everyone there has a wonderful time but not for me. I hope lots of people who are already moaning about it give up their tickets so that I grab one in the resale and am there to make the choice.

  39. Sickening isn't it, the greed and craving that some factions of society continue to display, fucking leaches the lot of them, no morals, standards or an ounce of believable human kindness and care between the lot of them.

  40. Why are you getting so defensive over someone personally thinking Billie Eilish is a downgrade from Taylor Swift? Who cares? Personally, Elton John would have been an upgrade over Macca. That doesn’t mean Macca is shite and that I’ve offended anyone who likes him.

  42. Billie will be a great headliner in my view, an exciting young artist who is constantly evolving and yet to reach her peak. Shame about the sound for her Other Stage set but I still enjoyed it. Not a nailed on must see for me, but I think there is a very good chance I will be there to see her if indeed she does get the Pyramid gig.
