Anyone else unwell?

Lemsips have been working a treat for me today. I'm also lucky enough to have the rest of this week off work.

I have had a stinking cold since the weekend which seems to have come from nowhere, maybe covid, no idea

 

... And I didn't even go to Glasto this year!

Wife thinks she has covid.

 

I was back at work today and felt like crying. Nothing out of the ordinary for post-Glastonbury, except my right ankle is twice its normal size. Radiologist diagnosed it as Flexor Tensosynovitis. Recommended no running for a week, shitloads of ibuprofen and not to go to Glastonbury as “aren’t you nearly 50?”

I feel like I'm dying..

 

Got two blisters on my left heal from the long walk back from Arcadia to Hitchin hill campsite (when it shut).

 

I'm coughing up what looks like soil (probably from the amount of dust breathed in).

 

I clocked up over 120,000 steps in four days - I usually do < 30,000 a week.

 

Knackered my phone and had to buy a new one today.

 

And to top it all tested +ve for covid this morning.

Made it through the whole festival from Monday to Monday with just sore tired feet until I tripped  up on some stupid persons metal tent peg they left in the ground yesterday in the campsite. Went flat on face, bloody nose and now 2 black eyes. 🙄 😩

Sounds like a Greek centre forward.😉.  I think the hard ground has contributed to a painful ankle I’ve ended up with. But certainly not complaining about it, a lot better than mud.   The dust was a bit of an issue, causing a bit of a cough. Didn’t see the ground getting sprinkled with water as I’ve seen in the past when it’s hot.

World fell out of me on Friday night and only just feeling right today. It was either too much booze or something I ate from a stall in Woodsies. Ex Wife has got COVID. Her husband, me and my daughter are all negative.

The sun got to me on Saturday. Heat exhaustion, made me feel feverish despite a normal temperature. when the sun went down i got so cold my teeth were chattering and I had to put on quite a few layers just to stop shivering. Had sunday been another hot day I think i would have been in trouble. It took a lot out of me and I didnt get to do half the things i wanted to do on Sunday because of it.

Just returned home and did a Covid test- second year positive for me but don’t feel half as bad

Ah sh*t, that sucks.  I took a drunken stumble Sunday night not seeing a fence support and doing an impressive fall that involved bouncing off fencing before hitting the deck, few cuts and bruises but I suspect my more cavalier attitude to muscle control at the time prevented anything more serious than the amusement of people around me (and concern, thank you to people who checked I was ok).

Just tested positive for COVID and my mate has too.  Feel a bit rough and just thought it was down to overindulgence.

Nose was f**ked and full of dried blood all weekend from the heavy dust in the air. At one point from Big Ground I could see the layer of dust haze hanging over the site in the blazing sun.

pretty sure i have come back with covid - did a test last night and it was negative, but started to feel like absolute sh*t overnight and it definitely feels covid-y.

I'm really really tired. Like struggling to open my eyes levels of tired despite sleeping all day yesterday and having a good night's sleep the last two nights. 

 

Ivw got no idea if I'm ill or it's just mad sleep deprivation during the festival (I actually had some early nights)

Really sore throat since Sunday evening at the festival. Also thought it was overindulgence first. 
 

But now full of snot and chesty cough too. 
 

Definitely caught the lurgy.

This is my missus too, she's just been coughing constantly since Sunday night,.

Just tested positive for covid. Got all the classic symptoms. Sore throat, runny nose, headache, aching muscles and knackered.

Yep same here. I have Covid, and feeling all the symptoms of fatigue, no smell or taste, chesty cough, headache etc.

Definitely feeling rough. Work from home was a struggle yesterday and not doing much better in the office today. Most i know are ill

I am full of a nasty cold. Along with post festival blues and my period I am feeling utterly SHITE.

Since 6pm yesterday I’ve done nothing but puke and number 2.

cant sit up, feel beyond rough, cant stop shaking.
