I’d definitely say big enough for a Park or Woodsies slot lower down. Maybe a slot on the Leftfield if not. I saw them at a headline show at SWX in Bristol end of last year which I believe was sold out. Could be one of the sets of the weekend. Fingers crossed 🤞

They played Shangri La at about 3am in 2022, which will again be insane. I’m hoping they’ll get a slot on one of the main stages too.

We’re after 1 Oxfam spot for my wife, having secured one myself back in Feb. We’ve been weighing up whether to stick or twist with the cutoff coming up. Your words sound encouraging though so we might have to stick it out and hammer the Oxfam site for that 1 spot!

I didn’t get a ticket this year (been every year since 2014). Gutted of course, but still completely agree that the current system is the best for people who are truly dedicated about going. Only thing that concerns me is the rumours of bots/people from a certain North West region exploiting the system. We didn’t get a sniff this year, nor did the majority of people we know that really tried for tickets. Hoping that see tickets put a stop to this for next year (if it is indeed true).

Hi mate, I’ve got distill set up on my iPhone (free version). Am looking at getting the paid version to get alerts set up as I’ve not had any come through yet on the free version. With the paid version, will the alerts still come through with the Oxfam site logging you out after a set amount of time? Only after the one spot for my wife as I’ve already managed to get one! Appreciate any help 👍

Who are we thinking for the Avalon this year then? I was hoping Hard-Fi would do a similar slot to the Hoosiers last year but seen they’re now exclusively at Victorious festival. Guessing there’ll be some more ‘poppy’ acts of the Sugababes/Mcfly ilk too. The Enemy or Kaiser Chiefs would be great in my opinion, both doing festivals.
