Interestingly Guns n Roses were at their peak and in the middle of their biggest tour around that time. 😉

Martin Elbourne specifically says he'll never book a heavy metal band and the deaths at their previous UK festival show get a mention so hardly surprising they weren't booked at the time.

I'm not saying that those two men of the clergy stood there are Jesus's bodyguards, but if you look at the hair area of the denim jacketed bloke (Jesus) behind those two, then if you kind of look to the right and squint then you can see Jesus's face slightly turned around, looking at the camera / you. Anybody else see that?

Yeah I see it, but I have been down the Cider House this evening so I'm a bit pickled....

92 was my first glasto, loved it. Carter USM headlining the pyramid and getting their sound cut as they overran still amazes me.

Mine too.. Sugarlump, Orb, Primal Scream, Tom Jones, fuck all sleep

Genuinely the best

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
