  1. Never going win an unfair/fair argument. At the end of the day it's ridiculous that seetickets don't have a capable and fit for purpose modern queuing system. This f5 multiple devices shouldn't be a thing in this modern world. I was f5' ing for world cup tickets back in 2006!!
  2. I know, i was being sarcastic. Just makes me laugh when you see social media full of vids etc making out people are some kind of ticket guru.
  3. This is what makes missing out so difficult this time. Had tickets for this years festival but life turned upside down 3 days before the festival and ended up going into hospital for 3 months. was praying for tickets for next after recovering but wasn't to be
  4. Show of hands if you dare, who got in with the hosts hack?
  5. Good post, are you involved with see/glasto with you knowing about the issue with payments?
  6. Moving the sale to another ticket broker will still deliver the same results. It will sell out, some will get tickets, many will not.
  7. Exactly this, the link would've taken them to the IP in the "hack" basically it's an easy ride then as very few would've been on that server, instead we were battling with 2 million other devices on the correct links
  8. It's not really much of a hack to be honest, you're just using a different server that you weren't supposed to or were there for backup or emergency failover
  9. I guess all it would've taken is a dns lookup/interrogation for glastonbury.seetickets.com last Thursday when the coach sale would've happened and this would've listed the public ip's used for that. Someone's then noted the ip not in the main pool and thought hmmm maybe! or thought let's go via www.seetickets.com with the same web address and see if we get a anything different.
  10. Thanks, wasn't aware of the different ip pools or if they were different for the backend. I've just seen the ip used for the hosts hack. As you say very strange the backup servers were handling live data for seetickets & gigs and tours
  11. What's the evidence that suggests it was never intended to be included? Potentially it could be a front end web server that the load balancers was misconfigured to not use or only push say 5% of hits to it.
  12. thank you, hope you all have a great festival. praying the ticket gods look down on me for next year
  13. yes they are, should be sat in the campervan field with a beer in hand watching the sun go down

    Disaster

Glasto is officially a no go for me, absolutely devastated. been in hospital with a suspected blood clot in my leg and now unable to walk. couldn't make it up, gutted 😞 always next year
  15. can someone post the link to the thread about missing tickets last year? EDIT found it Someone has tweeted about tickets saying delivered but not to her. thanks
  16. festival & campervan ticket arrived. one less thing to worry about
  17. seen pulp last week so want it to be blur, if not then foos.
  18. was at Brid last night, incredible comeback gig. They so need to be on that farm in a few weeks.
  19. really can't see that happening at all, from knebworth to supporting at Brid for a relatively small gig? Irony is brid was the very last time I saw oasis play and i'm there on friday for pulp too so "maybe"
