Genuine question. When you say most listened to artists ever is that spotify and stuff? Cos obviously bands have been going 60plus years (beatles, stones, who, so even tho they arent as popular now - purely by time they must have billions of listens?

They said most listened personally

re spotify - top listened to artists are generally contemporary pop / rap. Songs like Mr Brightside have tons of streams (over a billion) but most older stuff doesn't really as it was released pre-spotify. Also people who listen to beatles etc will be on CDs more.

Would it not be only 2 consecutive nights? the dates he has booked are 24th Amsterdam and 28th in Dublin. the 8 just looks like a 5!

Ooops apologies. You are correct. I still doubt it though as it is a stadium tour with no festivals so far. Unless he really really wants to do glasto

You're right, he said in TIME mag in 2018. I've not written him out of Glastonbury yet, purely because it was very suspicious of him to cancel his original 2022 autumn UK / Euro dates with no explanation, and to then move them conveniently to around Glasto.

Liam Gallagher aside, most of the headliner possibilities are quite interesting.

The only one that's not is the one we're actually guaranteed to be getting.

If AM’s 2023 set is anything like their 2013 one then we’re in for a treat

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
