I was a bit underwhelmed by his Roundhouse gig I must admit. The best I could describe it was that I enjoyed it as much as I enjoy just listening to his tunes on my headphones. He never seemed to get the crowd really going, and seemed to spend half the time just dancing around whilst his tunes were playing. Obviously a festival vibe will add massively to the experience - but comparatively to seeing the likes of Fred Again at Ally Pally last year - it was night and day for me. I absolutely love Barry Can't Swim, but because I saw him at the Roundhouse, and adding to that it's going to be incredibly busy by the sounds of it I'm probably going to give this set a miss.

Yeah it's super frustrating! Hopefully the persistent are awared for their perserverance! Usually there is an influx in the 48 hours before a gig and especially on the day of. I actually managed to get a pair of tickets on the Dice app this weekend. I've been on the waiting list for a good 3 months and I got an email saying I was next in the queue and that 2 tickets were reserved for me for an hour to purchase. Thankfully I saw the email after 30 mins!

Ah right - I thought as much! It is so annoying seeing the notification pop up to click on it immediately for it to disappear. Am hoping for some luck on the day - lets see! Have you managed to get your hands on any? Twitter is a cesspit for bots these days. I remember it being quite handy for getting tickets on there a few years ago - now everyone is selling 4 tickets to every gig due to their partners illness it seems!

Twickets is driving me up the wall! Am desperate for two tickets to Barry Can't Swim at the roundhouse on March 7th. I've got email and push notifications on my phone set up - and about 4 times now I've literally clicked on the notification the second that they come through to see that they're already being booked by another user. I'd be fine with this if it is actual humans making the purchases but I feel for these sought after gigs, im suspicious that bots are used to hoover up any spares that get listed.

going to attempt for a tipi today in the tipi field. Although imagine they will sell out immediately. Even though they are very expensive at £291 per person for 6 people, seems better value than £220 per person for those tiny looking 2 man scount tents in worthy view / sticklinch.

Nothing on twickets and twitter is just FULL of scammers - I used to be able to reliably use twitter for gig tickets on the day but its a cess-pit right now. On the off chance if anyone here has a ticket going spare I'll happily purchase!

Was absolutely brilliant. I was about two thirds back in the pit. but there was a very annoying group of about 8 behind us that chatted quite consistently and were just shouting/taking pics for the last hour. Was really hard to not focus on them unfortunately. But not just for that reason, I think Macca last year topped this.

Was a year of comedians for me! Saw josh widdecombe and nish Kumar in the park one morning, then saw Phil wang at basement jaxx in SL, then he was standing next to us again about 12 hours later at CMAT. Also saw Ed Miliband at west holts and Fatboy slim on the railway. Oh and Caitlin Moran in Strummerville on Wed.

What is everyone doing from this time onwards on wed night? Looking for a bit of inspiration! Have traditionally just been on the hill by the glasto sign, then wondered around with a few drinks and had an early-ish night ie not up till 5am. But want a bit more excitement this year! Any ideas/hints/tips most welcome! Can almost taste it now!
