Good stuff, new album is a cracker.

Wonder where they'd play, potentially fit on Other, JP and Park.

They were on Other in 2020 (the stage playlists are still up on Spotify), so I’d imagine same again. No real reason to change their slot as I don’t think they’ve changed in standing since then.

They headlined the John Peel in 2017 didn't they, on the Sunday? the bassist was stood next to me for Run The Jewels on the Saturday, and said he couldn't wait for the show.

That's right, I went to this when the rest of our group saw ES on the Pyramid.

Don't know if it's already been said but Beans on Toast told me last night he'll be there, no real surprise there

They headlined the John Peel in 2017, has their stock not risen since then - does that translate to low down the Other? (Genuine question by the way)

Saying that, I just checked their tour and they're not selling out academies.

Just looked at the clashfinder and The Wombats we’re 3rd on the other in 2019!! They’re certainly not bigger than them surely.  The other stage is a weird one tbf, loads of odd positions.  Lewis Capaldi was 4th on too…

Stock gone down for sure. They have always been weirs to place. Think I saw them really high up 2nd stage at Leeds around 2011 when The Look was out

    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
    • Proper loser behaviour wearing a tee like that. Me and my mate play a game every year called ‘Boomer Tees’ and there’s some gems every time.
