Macca vs Dua is a horrible clash. I guess it would have to be Macca (pending a must see on an alternative stage) given he’s not likely to be back again but Dua will headline one day.

Macca vs PSB would be preferable. I really want to see Macca, but know that my kids and wife will probably vote for Dua...if it was the Pet Shop Boys, there wouldn't be an issue as i'm the only one who likes them and i'd still vote for Macca.

There’s never a bad time to walk out on your wife and kids.

For a couple of hours.

I’m leaning towards yes.

It would certainly stack up with Emily's recent comment that certain acts booked have since attained headliner status. Could easily be referring to Harry Styles and Coachella. It's a booking that could have been made months ago! Long before he got the last minute bump-up at Coachella

Feels like Glastonbury have really benefited from perhaps holding off to confirm their lineup. Other festivals rushed to get there lineups out to avoid refunds etc, but Glastonbury have been able to stay patient and now, potentially, end up with by far the strongest lot of headliners in the world this year.

It’s also because they are the 🐐

No one dabs down on Glastonbury because it’s the 🐐

Just reading Craig Brown’s highly recommended book on The Beatles, and “All You Need Is Love” was recorded on June 25th. This year’s Saturday at Glastonbury falls on June 25th…

I like you're thinking..

I believe it was recorded before and then performed on a global satelite link on 25 June - possibly even more appropriate!

Both Kendrick and Macca look to be falling into place the closer we get to the balance payment.

Its almost as if this was the plan all along.

Who thought listening to people who normally get the big Info right would pay off

Who are we currently thinking for Sunday WH/Park?

Bicep? Bridgers?

Im looking at Simz, Macca or Dua then either Park or WH.

Feel like Bridgers is on for the Sunday Park slot, which is a pretty dreadful clash with Kendrick if that's how it shakes out. I love Phoebe and Kendrick, but my partner would massively prefer Phoebe. I'd lean towards Kendrick because I think it'll be iconic, but I think there's a strong chance we'd see Phoebe instead. Might be the worst clash for me since I've been going to the festival!

Bridgers can be any day tbh. We don't have any info she is on Sunday.

Phoebe will be at every festival until the end of time by the looks of her booking schedule. I'd try and catch Kenneth if I possibly could given the circumstances.

    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
