  1. Thanks for the tip, I’ve not come across her before and have listened to her today on Tidal. Really love it and have pre-ordered her new album…green vinyl.
  2. Fingers crossed you’re right.
  3. I think he’d be a brilliant headliner. Personally prefer him to Kendrick, who I am not the slightest bit interested in. I think Harry would be a great sub for Macca on the Saturday. Still really hoping for Taylor on Sunday though.
  4. He’d be a great sub for Macca.
  5. Everyone here had a vote and decided it would be better to have Harry headline.
  6. Anyone else mentioned that Harry’s Tour is called ‘Love on Tour’? I’m sure that the GF post with the Love sign has nothing to do with Harry right?
  7. I know there are a lot of Kendrick fans here but Harry would pull a way bigger crowd.Fingers crossed for Billie, McCartney, Styles or Taylor. Kendrick would, for me and the people I’m with, be a really disappointing headliner. Having said that I know there’ll be plenty of other places to be.
  8. I don’t know if it’s been mentioned before but Taylor and her boyfriend have been on a three day break in Cornwall. I wonder if they travelled down this way after stopping off at another prominent Westcountry location…Worthy Farm? Its also quite common for Glastonbury acts to play in Cornwall before the festival as a warm up. This year Diana Ross is playing at the Eden Project. Perhaps Taylor was having a look at the Eden Project as a potential warm up venue.

    fuck yeah

Great to have you back, thank you and the helpers for your hard work. This site is one of my everyday go to places and I’ve missed it like hell.
  10. I’m so sorry to hear your news, my thoughts are with you and your family.
  11. I had AZ and the first dose was pretty horrible. As a result I was not feeling great about having the second dose. The medic who gave me my second jab asked me about my experience of the first and said the second was normally much better. He was right. Absolutely nothing of any note. I took paracetamol before the second jab and for the remainder of the day. It was, thankfully, a walk in the park and I hope it is for you too.
  12. Yes! Thank you! Hope it works gir everyone. x
  13. Classic Glastonbury organisational fuck up. Really annoying.
  14. Really sad news, but as others have said, not unexpected. Fingers crossed for 2022!
  15. Yes, you’re right. The original government advice said lockdown until Thursday, then surprisingly they changed it when they announced the tiers and it’s now Wednesday. Retail and hospitality will be open on Wednesday.
  16. I’m so sorry to hear that, we must never forget the people who are risking their lives every day for all of us.
  17. I’ve found myself watching excerpts from Fox everyday...it’s like a grim fascination. Also catch up with NBC nightly news, Seth Meyers and Steven Colbert. i find it less challenging than watching UK news as there is a level of detachment. I would hate to live in America right now.
  18. I agree with so much of this. The thing that KS has is electability, something that JC lacked. Unfortunately, whilst I think he will bring back many traditional Labour voters, many more will need more time to heal. I hope I’m wrong... it will also be interesting to see how the more left wing Momentum types vote as Labour moves towards the centre left.
  19. Unfortunately JC damaged the Labour vote so badly that it was always unlikely they would re-cover over the course of one term. No matter what.
  20. Congratulations, that’s really lovely news.
  21. I think I saw the Glastonbury cancellation coming for a long time and so it felt less dramatic when it happened. I tend to be a bit doomsday, so I’m already not banking 2021 happening! We are a family of four and have settled in to our new life pretty well. When you have kids your priorities are different and you can’t let yourself go down a darker route. I realise that for some people that choice isn’t possible and I am lucky not to suffer in that way. I am not a social media fan, so have no worries with the fear those sites can sometimes spread. I’ve kept my news watching to an absolute minimum and keep updated once or twice a day. I have found this place to be, in general, somewhere to help me gain some perspective on what’s happening. There are a couple of threads where I feel I am getting some pretty solid info about what’s happening without the hyperbole. For the first time, I have chosen to block some posters content. Not something I would have ever done before but I have found that their posts seem cause me anxiety at a time that I don’t need it. This has worked well and I recommend it if you find your visits here are marred by one or two posters who you might feel don’t add to your enjoyment of the site. All the best to everyone, everywhere. Keep safe.
