2021 Headliners

I think Dua being bumped up due to no Taylor and not being able to wrangle Gaga is a fair enough consolation. Emily likely feels there has to be a female headliner someway somehow on the next poster. She also maybe thinks a UK artist is the safer play. You at least know that Dua would understand the stakes of headlining the Pyramid so she would do everything possible to deliver a top notch performance. And yeah, nobody is forcing you to watch her so if you wanted somebody to skip you get your wish.

It's Florence being approached though which is a bit strange if they've got Dua Lipa doing it. Unless she has said she won't be around in the end.

It’s on, surely?! Unless Glastonbury has already booked their headliners...

Massive. Great news the only headliner I wanted to see. Definitely on if he is in Europe in June. I hope to god the festival happens now man or Opener it is (if that happens). God I hate the current game, one time you could get excited.

    • On the Wet Leg crowd - the opening day always has the worst crowd of the festival. A lot of locals show up purely because it's a cheap evening, often with not much interest in the acts performing, so, while the talking is an issue throughout the festival (and increasingly at gigs/fests everywhere) it's particularly rough on the Wednesday every year. I'll only bother next year if I really like the act playing.  The wristband is basically a souvenir these days, which I like, as I keep them. Also I guess for the festival it's kind of cheap advertising as people walk around the city with them on.
    • Hoping the day splits will be included with whatever the secret is.
    • They will search bags going from the campsite into the festival site. How thoroughly they do that varies greatly from one security person to the next. If they find any cans they probably won't confiscate them, but more likely they'll offer you the option of drinking them there and then or taking them back to the campsite
